Great addition to my themed office.
Could not put it down. It's such an amazing story about the aftermath of the movie. Love the cover.

Won’t let you down!!
I loved it! A bit repetitive with “linen”, “leaves in my chest”, “seams”, etc., but a GREAT STORY! Especially the epilogue—not one to miss out on! Had to search 2 of the 3 literature & mythological terms (but happy to learn about something I’ve never heard of before!)

Now is the time for Sally to tell her side of the story! Loved this!
Picks up right where Tim Burtons' "The Nightmare Before Christmas" ended....Totally fun read! Ernshaw was 100% correct here with this one.Never having read anything by this author, 2 years ago, I had purchased this on the release date, and I just picked it up last week for a quick Summer time read.....I will most definitely be reading this every couple years when I want to go back to Halloween Town! Ernshaw takes you back to the world of these beloved, and very strange characters that the mind of Tim Burton created YEARS ago, and makes you RELIVE them in vivid imagery, colors and a story that just perfect.....and this time it is all Sallys! Well, Zero their dog is along for the ride. After getting married; Sally and Jack go on a well deserved but very SHORT (only overnight actually) so called Honeymoon. When Sally and Zero go for a walk to relieve some stress before the hustle and bustle of prepping for Halloween, they come back to find Jack asleep in the middle of the day. Upon NOT being able to wake him, Sally gets very nervous and goes to ask for help from the Mayor to see if he can wake him....that is when she realizes the ENTIRE town is in the deepest of sleep! And nobody is responding! What is going on? Is she the only one left alive? And why was the Halloween Town tree door left open? Sally must go out and she MUST find what is causing this and see if she can take her new position of HalloweenTown's Queen and put it to use. This book is a little over 300 pages, but such a quick read if you are a fan of these characters, and even if you do NOT know who they are at all, you are soon to meet them and ALL their friends and town folk. And so SO many of these we only seen in little Cameo Roles in the Disney classic movie! Highly recommended to ANY and all Disney fans who have grown to LOVE Jack and Sally Skellington. I would have rounded this to a full 5 had it been JUST a little bit creepy for the spooky season.4 Pumpkin Screams

A gothic red-rose love poem to staying authentic
Someone wrote a nevative review comenting on the William Shakespeare coment in the book. Stating it was incorrect, regarding how Jack Did in fact know who Shakespere was. The review stated the book did not stayed true to the movie, as Jack had in fact said he recited Shakesperes quotes, in the movie...This person who gave a negative review needs to learn the diference between knowing someone, and knowing of their litterary work. Right after the coment in the book, about Jack not knowing William Shakespeare (personally), Sally imediatelly clarifies that Jack has all of Shakesperes work, yet Jack does not know Shakespeare personally, as Shakespere does not recide in their realm of death.Due to this negative review, which persuades costumers not to purchase the book, due to "not staying true o the movie", I almost didn't buy the book.I am glad I decided it to give it a Go.Amazing literary work. Smooth writing. Imaginative and vivid visual descriptions, similes, and metaphors. This book is well written, whinsical, dark, and wrong in all the right ways.I am glad I chose to purchase it.

This book is so good, definitely recommend reading it. I’m a huge Nightmare Before Christmas fan and this was such an interesting concept on Sally.
