I considered similar products from Coast, Fenix and Olight but settled here…..and am really happy in both price and function.I liked the selector switch for mode and that power button was just that, a power button. I didn’t care about Turbo mode as that mode dims on all models. I also decided on a non adjusting model in that there is no beam focus, but this one does have 3 LED’s…..this unit does give you a bit of both flood and spot. In High mode it is very bright…..Medium would be fine for most tasks. Considering the weight of the battery I don’t see this as heavy by any means and the mount and strap are solidly built. Only gripe could be that the battery needs to be pulled to charge but that didn’t affect my buying decision.

My kids wanted to get there dad something for Christmas so I helped them with buying this light. My husband really loves it. He always needs a headlight when working around the house and has a small collection of them already. He has a few Milwaukee ones and now this Nebo and the Nebo is his favorite. The three different light settings work great and the battery outlasts the Milwaukee ones. I use it alot as well for when I'm doing diamond paintings or when I have to check on animals late at night. It's so bright that when I'm closing up my chicken coop at night one of my chickens always comes running out thinking she can continue to eat and drink and not go to sleep. The band is comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time especially when I'm doing my diamond painting and I end up getting carried away with that.

I got this for my brother because he wanted this model as a bright running headlamp (it isn’t the lightest but he doesn’t mind). Now, I’m a huge Nebo fan and have at least 9 of their various lights including the older Transcend headlamp model. I have to say, I’m not sure I like this newer version as much as the older 1k model. Sure, it’s brighter and has a nice selector dial, but the USB-C charging is made much less cool by the fact that you have to remove the battery to plug into the little port on the top of the cell (which also means a lower capacity 18650 is used). My old Transcend has a micro USB port on the headlamp body under a waterproof cover that twists out of the way and that works really well, plus you can use it while charging.My current favorite headlamp is the Fenix HM65R, and I think it’s a much better bang for your buck with both spot and flood lights, longer battery life, and simple buttons. The only thing I don’t like about the Fenix is that it doesn’t have a strobe feature which is useful for safety while running at dusk or lower level conditions.

I love this headlamp, so easy to turn on/off no red light to mess with like all the other's I've had.So simple to select different brightness.The battery is a 18650 that has a USB "C" plug on the battery itself. I'd prefer to plug to the light itself but it's very easy to recharge. You can use a normal 18650 battery the OEM has a 3200 ah so I'm not sure if a stronger battery would damage the light or not, but they have a very nice light. I have mine attached to a hardhat with the band included. Very easy to take off and on the hardhat or my head.Like I said I love my light.

Great quality product, also durable. This is a very bright light and works great, it’s also comfortable. I would not recommend for use in very close quarters, anything 5 feet or closer does not work so well. This light has a great span width wise and distance, however it’s not as great for use with close range because you have to have the position of the light all the way down and it’s more of a wide spread versus inspection. I still highly recommend this light and would purchase again, I’m a lineman and use this light for pole work and it gets the job done.
