PROXXON Inc. warrants to the original purchaser only that all PROXXON consumer power tools will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase. terrible quality dangerous
This is not a tool, it's just a piece of garbage. It literally caught fire in my hands. These devices are dangerous to use.

Good product with a few important flaws
The Proxxon Longneck Angle Grinder is a good product, well made, nicely balanced and easy to use, especially for grinding and sanding intricate bronze sculpture. The machine fills a niche in my shop, in applications where my 4.5" angle grinders are too big and the Dremel is too small and underpowered.I don't like the position of the controls, on the top of the tool. I often hit the power button by mistake and turn the tool off in the middle of an operation. I also nudge the speed control without meaning to. The controls would be better placed on the bottom of the grinder or more deeply recessed. In fact, I think the Proxxon might cost less if the variable speed feature were dispensed with entirely. The speed range is very limited, and the top speed is the only setting most would use.I would have liked a few more accessories to be included; and additional accessories (flap discs, sanding discs, backing pad) are way too expensive.It's a nice tool, despite my concerns, and I think it would be a good addition to many shops, especially if you don't use pneumatic tools.

Just what I needed for Goat Hooves
This is perfect for making my Goats Hooves finished after trims!! I had been looking at an item that was twice a much $$ that was solely for my purpose and I tried out a Friends and it was soo heavy! I am so glad I made this purchase, this is light weight and with the Sand paper attachment it’s a breeze to get my Hooves done.

I love this little grinder
I've got several grinders that I use for woodcarving including an Arbotech. The Arbortech is much more powerful, but not nearly as ergonomic or as comfortable to use. These little grinders are not made for all day use, or for hogging off lots of material because they get hot and you need to let them cool down. That said, they're great for texturing and light shaping.

Unprofessional
I’m a professional floor installer and I work with a lot of tile and stone. I picked one up because I thought it would be efficient for fine cuts in small areas like shower niches, etc.The housing on the blades are so loose that it only lasted 2 jobs till I packed it up for good. I tried to like this produce. Would not recommend to even a novice craftsman.
