They keep the food nice and fresh and close nicely with four latch snaps on all four sides. they are microwavable, easy to wash in the dishwasher or sink and I send this product to the children and grandchildren all the time. The only thing is they used to cost $15 for the three and now the price went up to $21 which is still a good price but it is not what it used to be. I guess nothing is
