Hauling decoys, gear and extra rain gear? Carrying a bow? Need a fanny pack? How about a daypack, too? Oh, and you want to haul away your meat? Nobody wants to buy five different packs for all your different needs, which is why ALPS OutdoorZ has brought you a pack that can accommodate ALL your hunting needs! Let us introduce you to our most versatile pack yet, ALPS OutdoorZ Pathfinder. The Pathfinder was designed BY hunters, FOR hunters. When you're scouting or going to your stand, the fanny pack mode is great to haul along the essentials. There is a nice padded waist belt and shoulder harness system that makes carrying the Pathfinder a comfortable fit and helps distribute the weight. When more room is necessary, you simply unroll the daypack mode out from the fanny pack and you have an additional 1100 cubic inches of space. Once the daypack mode is set, you have the option to use the Pathfinder in a hauling mode or bow-carrying mode. The hauling mode has extra fabric and straps that create additional space, to either carry out meat or extra gear. Last, but not least, there's a bow pocket that fits a wide variety of compound bows, and once strapped in by the lash straps, your bow will be secure and your hands will be free! Another great feature of this pack is that it's compatible with ALPS OutdoorZ accessory pockets: Binocular Pocket, Camera Pocket, and Turkey Call Pockets) so you can attach the pockets to the front of the harness and have your most important gear in front and accessible when you need it. The accessory pockets are also compatible with ALPS Little Bear and Big Bear.

Just what I needed
I needed a day pack for moose hunting that I could pack my lunch in and maybe my other gear if it got hot (I always dress warm). Also I needed a pack for caribou hunting for hiking around that was comfortable on my back. I am very pleased to say that this pack was exactly what I needed, for moose hunting it was a small bag and I could unzip the top and put my outer layer in it. For caribou hunting the harness fit well and when it came to pulling the sled I took the bag part off and used the shoulder strap and belt as a pulling harness. My bow didn't fit to well but I had no problem getting it strapped in so i could carry it. The rangefinder pocket was a bit too small and I haven't found a use for the little pockets in the front yet. But all in all a great pack

Well thought out pack
Used for a month bow hunting elk in mountains of Wyoming. Lots of pockets and straps to organize everything so easy to find and easily accessible. I added a couple of straps to attach a small folding stool. Plenty of room in upper foldable pack to carry rain gear and pack out meat. Only negative was the shoulder straps are not centered so chafed on neck/shoulder on one side. If you put a lot of heavy items in the fanny pack outside pocket the weight is too far from your hips so pulls heavily on shoulders. Keep heavy items as close to body as possible. Really liked the bow pocket and straps. Strapping the bow to the pack and freeing up both hands makes it a whole lot easier climbing up or down steep slopes. Well constructed. Nothing broke or quit working in a month of pretty heavy use. Will use again this year for another elk hunt.
