Irritec P1 5/8' drip tape 15 mil 8" Spacing 0.46 GPH 1000' Roll

I've been using the Toro blue stripe stuff for years but took a try on this and I'm really happy with it. Very tough, looks like it will last.

Quality seems good enough to last through all four seasons in northern IL, however I am laying out 100’ strips and was on my 7th row and ran out a bit over halfway through! I wonder if they hope people aren’t really measuring the length or something but I truly needed all 1000’! Couldn’t finish my project right in the middle and that’s really screwing up my whole schedule.

The price is the main advantage of this tape. I have found at least 150 ft of the 1000 ft roll without holes in it. I solved that problem by punching holes where I needed them but the flow rate will not be the same as the factory holes. Although, even the factory holes are not consistent. Some drip, others shoot fountains of water 2 ft in the air. This drip tape will get the job done but it creates quite a few headaches.*Edit* As I work more with it, it looks more like 50% is without holes. I downgraded to 1 star because this is nearly worthless because of how unpredictable it is.

After 30+ years of Micro irrigation I'm ready for irrigation tape. Soaker hose clogs with minerals and fine sand making it useless after a couple years. Micro irrigation tips suffer in the sun and become brittle or clog. Irrigation tape has been dedicated to my fall and winter garden. How lovely. No leaks, easy to install. Put it on a timer and watch as the water goes where you intend. Don't forget to order grommets. A necessary part of stress free irrigation.

Flow rate is accurate. Just installed memorial day for my victory garden..Will order more when available.
