NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Ultimate Shadow Palette, Eyeshadow Palette - Brights

These colors pop! Great for every day use, but I really like using the bright colors for costuming. A little bit goes a long way!

I use this for color guard and it’s so vivid even under the washing stadiums lights! definitely get if you’re a performer or into vivid makeup. It also hasn’t broken at all given the amount of times it’s been dropped, the colors are all intact after a year or two!

NYX Professional Eye Make-up is perfect for my skin. When I find a gem, I want to share. The eye shadow does not crease or smear, it has staying power, the colors are beautiful with an excellent selection, I had no eye or skin irritation. The make-up is easily removed with soap and water or make-up removal wipes. I am picky with eye make-up. I have matured adult skin.

At least in my experience the colors were fairly bright at the beginning but not as saturated as I'd expect. I also had the problem that in comparison to another eyeshadow palette that I have, it went away super fast. I think it lasted me only an hour or two before the color completely started to disappear. So not bad, but honestly not what I was expecting,.

The media could not be loaded. The colors are very vibrant and you don’t have to keep applying. I used this NYX pallet along with pink glitter eyeshadow from SEINT and blue Urban Decay color: Chaos. I am pretty proud of myself! I think it turned out really fun!

This is a beautiful eyeshadow palette

I have been playing around with this palette for the last week, the only colors I haven't touched are the greens. I was so inspired when I opened up this palette, the colors look so beautiful and laid out into color stories for you. The first thing I don't like about this palette is the mattes with shimmer, there are no true reflective shimmer for the lid, they all turn out looking matte when applied. I find these shades very hard to work with, you have to really pack them on for them to stick to the eye good, I never have this problem, then they are a patchy mess if you can blend them out without blending the color away. The true actual mattes in this palette, which happen to be more of the lighter shades, are so beautiful, pigmented and perform the way you want an eyeshadow to. So with all this being said I had a hard time using this palette on it's own, I had to reach into something else for a popping shimmer and would really only reach for this for the lighter shades. I am happy to own this even tho I wasn't impressed with all the shades, the beautiful lilac and light teal were worth the $12 to me. I think there's better on the market for the price tho.

I love the colors. They are not so overwhelming, but they are strong enough. If you love color on your eyes, you will love this pallet.
