Lamp is attractive and substantial weight so it needs to be on a solid table. Looks great and was reasonably priced considering how sturdy it is

I bought this lamp to replace a very old desk lamp. This is a lovely lamp. The slate is beautiful. It was securely packed by manufacturer and Amazon. Easy to assemble. The 3-way feature is a plus in our dark den. I wonder if there is a 3-way green bulb? Very reasonable price and heavy and sturdy enough that rampaging cats can't knock it off desk. Very pleased with my purchase. A year later and this has become our favorite lamp--hard to find 3-way bulbs that work with it, but still a great purchase at a great price.

I purchased a pair. They arrived undamaged. I love the natural slate which has natural color variations of tan/brown and bluish grey. They are heavy, seem solidly built. The black parts look hand painted. They look great with the black asian style furniture in the room. My complaint is the same as with another set of lamps I bought from this seller: they are advertised as three-way sockets but are not. The shade looks off white when turned off but when the light is on they are significantly darker. If you want white you will have to switch out the shade. I added a washer under the finial to make the shade sit more firmly. Overall they seem like a good value for the price.

This lamp is terrific. The first one I received must have been a damaged return from someone that was inadvertently sent to me. Customer service at Amazon shipped a replacement lamp. ( That is the one that is terrific!) The slate is beautiful. The three-way option is a major plus. The shade I received is very nice. The lamp has black accents on the base and top of the slate. This is a very heavy lamp. I expected someone who has impeccable taste to have a negative comment when he saw this lamp. He thought it was gorgeous. I don't know if I would say gorgeous, but it is a cool lamp for sure.

The base of the lamp was beautiful but the lamp shade was stained so sent back and ordered the same lamp but the shade was stained again so returned.. will not order again

This lamp has a heavy base and while "skinny" will not tip over easily. It is a lovely stone color which matches my decor and the whole lamp looks a lot more expensive than it is.

Great lamp! The slate is wonderfully rough-hewn and goes with a range of colors and decors. This is a really substantial, heavy lamp. The shade was a good rectangular shape but was a cheap-looking shade. All-in-all, a real bargain for a very nice lamp.

The base of the lamp is beautiful. It’s very sturdy. The shade though, not so good. The trim around the edges is crooked and very poorly made. I’ll have to buy another shade. I’m giving it 3 stars because it really is a stunning piece. It would be a 5 if it wasn’t for the shade.

This is a very nice lamp for the price. It is substantial in terms of weight and looks quite fine in our living room. Thinking of getting a twin for it.

Nice lamps but took two orders and a return in order to get two lamps the same. Then noticed shades were different colour. The slate is very nice and overall a great valur for the price. Fast shipment as always with Amazon.
