Great product, I love it. The only flaw was the hardware. We upgraded to stainless steel screws because a few of the included screws threads sheered off even after pre drilling. The new hardware took care of that no issue. Will buy again for future projects

One 1/4 20 bolt is missing and the plastic cap is broken. The box was damaged and shipped in a plastic bag. It looked like it was opened before it was sent.The instructions are not that good. There is a installation video, but it isn't for this exact same product.

If you are using this item to close a non standard door as I have you will need some good DIY skillsto make it fit.

This closer seems well constructed and once installed functions as it should.There are two main problems, the instructions and the supplied hardware.The manufacturer spent lots of money generating impressive glossy instruction sheets but, unfortunately, hired someone without a good understanding of written English to write the text. It's not gobbledygook, but it's close. For instance: "This installation applies the door and door frame is not on the same plane..."The supplied screws don't account for typical American door and frame designs, being overly short and thin.Of note, if you're making a parallel installation on the exterior side, line up the template where the door meets the stop, not at the top jamb as directed in the instructions.

very good item but must remember its a lit weight door closer possibly not work on heavy fire doors .you must check size of door ideal for light internal doors.
