Q: Can you use it after a blister has appeared? Will it still be effective?

I ordered this the day I felt a blister starting and got it about 36 hours afterwards but it has not helped in the healing process. I've used it at least 3 times per day for 4 days and my lip isn't any more healed now on day 6 than anytime in the past. I'm going to try it on day one next time and hope it'll work. Otherwise this will be just another failed cold sore product.

Q: I own an earlier model of this product that requires disassembling the unit to replace the battery. Has this been improved on (i.e. a battery door)??

The bottom of it comes off and the battery falls right out. Simple to change

Q: Does it come with the battery ?

Yes, it does, but in order for the device to power on, you have to remove the green plastic tape on the battery nodes.
