Is it flat enough on the bottom side to put Velcro on to stick to to my board?

Yes bottom is flat but with black rubber grommet tabs in each corner for elevation on a floor or any pedalboard.

Can you play this straight into a cab?

If I switch between patches, can reverb & delay tails be maintained? Or are tails only functional while a particular patch is still active?

That didn't answer the question. Does the Reverb and Delays keep the tail when you switch fx, or is there a harsh cutoff when you switch to a different preset? It's a deal breaker if it cuts off the verbs between patches. I'm curious about this too.
