Neat little device, the portion is just the size I needed. My only gripe is that the swiper on the inside is way smaller than the actual half dome, so it does not scrape out your dough. It just kind of mangles it on the way out.

Worked well for the first half batch of meatballs I was making for a soup, and then started getting stuck and would not work. In other words, it didn’t even last through a batch! Not the quality I was expecting…

I have the two bigger sizes (1 Tablespoon and 2 Teaspoons). They are the advertised capacity - I checked. The .5 Tablespoon should hold 1.5 teaspoons; it only holds 1 Teaspoon.
