Worth the cost
I was looking for a sturdy monitor stand since I was purchasing three Dell U2412M monitors. After reading the reviews here, I had some reservations about materials and build quality. Please allow me to lay those rumors to rest.Pros:1. This is the only monitor stand I found to hold 24" monitors. I looked at the Ergotrons and their site says they don't support three 24" monitors so I passed on them. If you're going with smaller monitors, they are cheaper options available to you.2. This thing is a monster in size and weight. With my triple landscape layout, it has a 5 foot span. I had the forethought to weigh just the base alone before assembly and it came in at 11 pounds and it tends to be on the light side by a few pounds (I never calibrated it).3. Solid construction. ALL load bearing parts are metal - either steel or aluminum. Anybody who states differently does not own this stand. Regarding the plastics - cable guides are plastic and clip on to the post or arms. The base has a plastic cover over metal. Remember, I stated the base alone weighs at least 11 pounds.4. Plenty of adjustments to get your monitors aligned and angled correctly. Just remember that the center monitor gets the mount WITHOUT the turn screw adjustment. Height adjustment is based off the center monitor and done by the main mounting on the bar.CONS:1: Set Up - While overall setup was easy, I did have to customize a bit. The main bar gets inserted into a socket which has a bolt welded to the base. The idea is to insert the rod, screw it onto the bolt and then lock it in with an allen set screw. The problem was with the powder coating and the clearance of the socket, it was TIGHT. My solution was to sand off the powder coat up to three inches from the end, apply a coat of black primer to the fresh metal and oil the tube socket and rod. Problem solved but required an extra half hour or of assembly time.2. Monitor mounts (rotation) - I had to remove these and snug up the lock nut for monitor rotation. The factory preset was too loose and allowed for very easy monitor rotation but was giving me fits during monitor alignment.3. Monitor mounts (arm attachment) - Two issues here. First is the attachment design. It allows for quick and easy mounting and removal of monitors, but there is no way to lock them into place which also leads to my second issue with this design. Tilting up is a guessing game. Do not try to make fine adjustments by tilting up, there's no bottom grip or set screw lock to prevent movement so you have a lot of slop. If you go to far down, tilt up beyond flush and make fine adjustments by tilting down. Once set, lock the tilt adjustment securely into place.4. Aesthetics - I like the stealth fighter design philosophy, but the undercut of the base covering makes the ends appear to curl upwards. I've verified that it is indeed sitting flush as can be and is very stable. But my eyes keep glancing over the ends and wondering.Summation:Be prepared for some extra labor when fitting the rod into the base and work in an open area. Be aware of which mount goes on the center monitor and address any loose fittings prior to re-locating the entire setup to your desk. Overall I spent about two hours on assembly and adjustments. Part of this was due to some of my own goofs and gaffs, but also some necessary customizing. Your mileage may vary.Final thoughts - overall I'm very pleased with this stand. Half a star goes toward having to customize the fit and half a star for the bracket nuances with aesthetics being a push.

Middling
Eh.This product does work as advertised, the manufacturing quality is decent but mine broke in two places during assembly which could be repaired with some annoyance or don't seem to matter. -The main clamp where the rail assembly attached to the base can't be loosened to the point where it can be moved (monitors on or off) without the bolt flying completely out of the joint and it is a real task to get it back in and tightened once you have moved the rail assembly into place. -On each monitor attachment there is a spring loaded pin that locked the monitor onto the rail. One of the springs shout out the bottom ejecting the post and I was unable to repair it but it still fundamentally works, it just doesn't lock into place allowing tilting movement as it should. The stand is quite large, but it kind of has to be considering the forces in play. You should plan on having a corner (or 'L') shaped desk where the distance between you and the back of the desk is as large as possible. If your desk wobbles at all (say you use a desk mounted keyboard tray and the whole thing is metal) expect some level of bounce on the outer most monitors, it's not bad but you will notice if you are coming from anything else. It would be great if you had a cubicle at home, but anything less and I might say you should think about some alternatives. All things considered, it's alright. Maybe at $275 or even $250 this would be something I would buy twice. Otherwise I mist just skip the mount entirely.

Sweet Stand - Would Buy Again .... But
With the options for triple monitor stands fairly limited, I would not hesitate to purchase this item again. Looks great and does what it is meant to.However ... Using it to hold 3 x 24" Dell 2405FPW (2006) it is a little on the shaky side. They are big monitors and heavy as well. There is a bit of torque on the stand when all that weight is applied making me somewhat nervous. It has been perfect so far (about 3-4 weeks).Everything is adjustable so you can level all the monitors within tight specs for all the "perfectionists".I deducted one egg specifically because the stand "holds" my 24" monitors, it is not as sturdy as I would have liked. And as stated early, if anyone were using newer monitors (which tend to be lighter) .. DO NOT HESITATE .. BUY IT!!I would recommend this product to anyone looking to de-clutter their desk and put a little fashion in their work/gamin space! In the few people that have seen the setup, everyone wants to sit down and check it out!Great product! Thanks XFX and Amazon.

Works Well -- But It's Huge
So when I started looking at triple monitor stands to buy, I had a hard time choosing. I bit the bullet and bought this one even though it is more expensive than some others because the reviews praised its functionality. After using it for a few weeks now, I've come up with this list of pros and cons:Pros:- Very stable- Monitors are easy to remove and re-attach- Can handle very large monitor sizes - I currently use a 27" and two 24" monitors with it.- Decent cable management- Mounting hardware is providedCons:- Absolutely huge footprint. I've got a big desk, and I had to move it away from the wall by 2 inches in order to fit this stand and my keyboard on the same desk. Do NOT get this if you do not have plenty of desk space.- The plastic on the base has kind of an odd feel to it - kind of cheap feeling and scratches easilyIf I think of anything else as I am using it, I will update this review.

the screens do wobble easily which can get annoying
I've been using this stand for about 8 months now. The stand works OK and the quality seems high. I purchased this for my desk at the office and while it holds my 3 monitors securely, the screens do wobble easily which can get annoying. The stand also takes up a lot of desk space. I expected better for the price you pay.

Brilliant triple monitor stand
Brilliant triple monitor stand. Expensive but when you see it, you'll know why! it's packaged great and the build is amazingly solid, just about all of it is metal coated in matt black paint. It looks incredible with my 3 x's 23" monitors on it and once set up I've never had to fiddle with it again. If you're into triple screen PC's you can buy better than this at the price. Simply great.

XFX Triple Stand for Monitor Displays
As you will see right away, the price is a bit high.Having said that, and looking at what other options are out there, it is a good product.Price is actualy reasonable as you will see when you get it.All parts are well made and of a high quality. Also very adjustable to set your monitors up how you want them.If you can push to spend on this product, you will not regret it.Just remember to first make sure that it will fit your needs ( and monitors ) as size and space ( and look's ) must be looked at.Enjoy.P.S. Do not over tighten the screws when fitting your monitors to the brackets as you might strip them.

Good monitor stand
This device is big, I won't make any bones about it, the unit is designed to support 3 off 24" monitors, which it does quite admirably. The fittings are good, the base and supports are quite heavy and made from steel and there is quite a bit of adjustment possible in the monitor mounting brackets - I find that with the monitors set carefully they do not sag on the outside.I particularly like that there is a USB hub built in with a lead at the back and 2 USB ports on the front, the same with audio - there are leads to connect the audio on your pc to the stand and then sockets for microphone and headphones on the front of the stand. On the whole - this cost about the same as 2 of my monitors, so I expected and got a secure stand that is solid and has a good amount of adjustability. If I had any niggles it would be the plastic cable tidies that are not that good, though they do the job
