Beautiful black plate. My purpose was to mix & match with other plates. As a serving piece it works. You couldwarm your food but I would not cook in it.

This is an amazing plate! I seasoned it with plantains as the directions stated and it works beautifully! You will not be disappointed.

outstanding dinnerware
Excellent plates for "gravy" type dishes, i.e. stew, Cajun type foods, spaghetti , etc. Solid, nice large size, look really good.
