I've bought 2 of these sets due to needing 4 hinges and 2 handles for my project and the quality between the two sets of hinges is bad everything else was fine. 1 set opens slightly past 90 degrees whereas the other set opens less than 90 and so I had to bend the hinges just a little. I didn't need the locks for my final project so I instead used them to test the strength of the screws. For my setup, 2 layers of 1/8" pine plywood glued together with wood glue and using glue beneath the hardware the screws held up to about 40 lbs of tension. The metal actually deformed before the screws ripped out. Pilot the holes with 1/16" or smaller pilot to make installation easier.

Very sturdy, use it on a chest, worked perfectly.

Overall hardware was good but the small screws for the box tip ends were too large to be flush with the rest of the metal.

This kit was pretty okay. Very cheap feeling but that’s what you get for such a low price. The hasp is unusable so i went to the hardware store and picked one up. My favorite part were the corner protectors and the pull! They look pretty decent and really add an antique look to your project. Keep in mind that in order to install the corner protectors you will have to break the corners you’re putting them on in order to allow them to seat properly. Overall i would recommend these but know that the gasp is going to go into the garbage.

Got what I asked for and on time.

I can deal with it but if your looking for well made metal corners these are what you want. Heavy Metal they ain’t!

Ich habe das Set bestellt um den Rahmen meines Dartboards zu verschönern, dafür habe ich zwei Sets verwendet. Es sieht wirklich sehr schön aus und macht auch einen wertigen Eindruck. Einzig die Scharniere habe ich nicht verwendet. Ich kann das Set aber absolut weiterempfehlen.

Gran bel kit

I was looking for a classic look, and an aged feel for a specific wood working project. This kit was just right for the project. Really added the perfect touch to the project.

I ordered 2 packs of these fittings to decorate a keepsake box. They were perfect for what I wanted and sturdier than I expected for the price. Unfortunately one of the handles was either broken or had a maufacturing error (these things happen). When I contacted the seller they were very helpful, sending a replacement very promptly. Very pleased with the product and seller reponse.
