Your Fescue Lawn Will Love it!
The soil on my NC property is all red clay. I used Simple's liquid aerating product twice a year and then this product. I can do my 8,000 square foot yard with a 32 oz bottle in a backpack sprayer. Those with a hose end sprayer will have to walk real fast and will most likely need 2 bottles. . The good news is that you can actually see the brown liquid coating your lawn, so it is easy to follow your spray pattern. I will also alternate between liquid and granular humic acid. Although, a bag of granules is more expensive. A 40 lb bag will cover 40,000 square feet. So when you add it up, is 6 of one or half dozen of the other. I do like the granular version from The Andersons as I believe that the granular version will treat the red clay soil a bit better. in any case, I have been using this humic acid product for 6 summers and my fescue in green, very healthy and most of all, survives July and August which are brutal for cool season grasses.

Thick healthy green lawn
Product worked as advertised. Applied per instructions with backpack sprayer. Noticeable results on day 4-5 with best results around 7-10 days. Applied 2nd to last week of April. Lan had already been fertilized and pre emergent in early March. Liquid fertilizer 3 weks after that. Noticed significant green up, growth, and the lawn seemed to thicken up quickly. Seems to have allowed to nutrients to be better absorbed in the soil. Very low odor, Applied it in combo with liquid iron. The iron has a much stronger odor. Overall likely to re order at some point when needed and continue to use in my lawn program.

The Key to the start of a Great Lawn Starts here!!!!
To start with I've been a amazon prime member since 2004 and this is probably the first time I've ever written a product review on an item. Reason being, I've never been more impressed with a product as I am with this one and I just felt that potential buyers need to know how amazing this product is. Family and friends of mine have had negative experiences with a couple of the big brand grass products so I decided to go with product that I felt was descriptively explained and competiveley priced. From what I found out is that this company is family owned and has been around for years doing commercial work but recently started to sell retail products. I am by far no landscaper and knew little to nothing about growing grass until I did a little youtube research and reached out to this company directly and I explained to them that I was going to install sod to my front yard (about 1200 sqf) and I wanted to know what were the proper steps I should do to treat my foundation. So it was recommended to me I treat my soil with this Root Hume to help the sod root better and give it all of it necessary nutrients to provide quicker growth when I install the grass. I was given recommendations on their complimentary products to pair with this Root Hume and the time in between to use it (their Extreme Growth booster and lawn energizer w/ nitrogen) I'm a little over 2 weeks into the process at the time of this review, 18 days to be exact so i haven't yet purchased to lawn energizer with nitrogen as it was recommended that be applied 4-6 weeks after the growth booster. This stuff is absolutely amazing because several months earlier I put grass down on the side of my house without this product and that grass definitely didn't catch and grow as well as my grass in the front. This is without question the best thing you can get the start new lawns whether you are seeding or installing sod. The first three pictures in this review is the foundation before I added the new top soil and this Root Hume. the next three pictures are day one, the next three pictures is Day four, the next three pictures is Day Day four, the next three pictures are in Day 10 and the last three are day 18.

Don't want to use with a hose end sprayer
First and foremost, the product works. I have no issues with the product. My issue is that when I was researching whether or not to purchase the product, I read that it takes 3-4 ounces per 1,000 sq ft. What this did not mention is that this is for a portable sprayer. If you use a hose end sprayer, it takes 10 ounces per 1,000 sq ft; that is a lot of product. Now, I understand the reason being that the product does not get diluted as much as it would in a portable sprayer, so it needs the extra product to provide an even distribution over your lawn. However, that is a lot of product. If you have a hose end sprayer, my advice is use granuals; you will save money.

Best Product I've Found!! Wonderful!
I switched to a liquid fertilization system and I wanted something that would be safe for the pets and give me the results I needed. I contacted the company via Amazon with my soil test results and got a few recommendations, which for me was the Soil Loosener/Conditioner, Humic Fulvic Acid (Liquid Carbon), and Superior Nitrogen & Potash. I generally apply a bit less than recommended, but more frequently and I’ve never been happier with the results. I do add the Advanced 16-4-8 a few times a year, as well as organic insecticide. Other than mowing and mulching, those are the only products I’m using. I started with a mud pit of a yard 4 years ago when I bought the home and finally focused on the yard last summer by starting the overseeding and fertilizer process. The icing on the cake was the nutrients this year from Simple Lawn Solutions. I’ve had countless neighbors ask how I got such a green yard when most of the neighborhood was yellow dead grass. Having pets is also rough on the yard and even in the backyard where the “business” is done, you couldn’t even tell as the grass is green and just beautiful. I do find the liquid so much easier as you can clearly see where you’ve sprayed and what’s left. I use a tow-behind sprayer on my lawnmower and usually spray as I mow and then do a final round before calling it a day. It’s super simple, cost effective (way cheaper than hiring a service and much less expensive than many other products I’ve seen). I couldn’t recommend this enough and look forward to seeing what I can do next year as well!

The lawn is greener and healthier than ever before
This season I decided to step up the game and get my yard to look the best possible. I started with aeration last fall, as well as seed and fertilizer (done by a company - don't know what product was used). At the beginning of Spring I noticed that the grass was not responding well in recovering from the winter (mild winter this year). I used the same service I had used during the fall, they did some fertilizer and weed preventer (again, unknown product). A couple of weeks went by and no change, lots of weeds started coming out and the grass looked thin and weak. I decided then to take over, below is what I did. 1. March 16: - Milorganite Fertilizer (Organic - Nitrogen) 2. April 20 : - Detached Lawn (Did it with attachment on my ridding mower - Removed a 40 Gal. trash bag worth of dead grass) - Over-seeded (gorSmart Turf Type Tall Fescue Blazzing Blues Grass Seed - 10 lbs) - Starter Food (Scotts Turf Builder Starter Food for New Grass - 2 Bags) - Milorganite (Organic - Nitrogen - Again) 3. April 27: - Humic Fulvic Aicd (Simple Grown Solutions Raw Organic Humic Fulvic Acid - Liquid Carbon) The results have been amazing, I have the most healthy lawn in my neighborhood, the grass is greener and healthier than ever before. I think that the Humic Fulvic Acid from Simple Grown Solutions helped the soil absorb the Milorganite and the other nutrients on the soil. The only negative I have is that now I have to cut the grass 2 times per week, awesome!
