Ill start by saying Im a line snob, I am boujee, and I will pay ridiculous amounts for line. However, I was given a whole fleet of reels as a gift and I needed to reline them all. I couldn't bring myself to purchase my favorite Daiwa J-Flouro Samurai, I just wanted something cheap to get my by for the rest of the season. So I searched and searched and I kept ending up between P-Line Tactical, and this. Ive used the Tactical before, and its great. A little memory, but overall great. (Samurai is phenomenal). At almost $10 cheaper than the Tactical I thought Id give it a try, and hey, if I hate it, I only have to use it for a month or so. First impressions were great. It was very smooth, supple, and little stretch (I hate stretchy Flouro). Once on the water the good scores kept rolling in. It was very very strong and had good abrasion resistance when used near wood and rock. The only knock Ill give it is that it is not super castable due to the memory on the spool. If Samurai is 10/10, Tactical a 8/10, Id give this line a 7/10. For the price, that's a solid score. Ive used other lines at this price point like Red Label, Abrasix, invisix and more... and they might score 5 or 6/10.For the price, solid option!
