The reviews here aren't exactly the best, so here's my attempt to explain everything relevant. 1: Adjustability. There is none. It would be painfully easy for them to make a few straps adjustable, but they don't. The most that you get is the ability to make the right armpit opening loop a bit bigger or smaller. This makes it extremely tight across the chest for someone my size. 2: Ease of use. People complain that it's impossible to figure out how to put it on. Well, guess what - it's not. Anyone who can look at a picture of Ash Williams and use two brain cells can figure it out with a few minutes of trial and error. However, this holster does not function the way that Ash's does in the movies/show - it doesn't attach to the belt. The strap isn't even long enough to attach to the belt in front and back, and the openings to hook it onto the front of the harness won't match up if you try to make it reach the belt. As for the need for a rivet, you do need one if you want it to look at its best and most authentic. However, there are some work arounds if you don't have the means to attach a rivet. 3: Functionality. It will not support the weight of a real gun. Period. Even if it did, it would be so incredibly uncomfortable that you wouldn't want to try. It does, however, fit toy shotguns, so you're fine on that front. But that leads to the next category. 4: Similarity to the one from the movies/TV show. There is one significant flaw - this holster is canted for a right-hand draw. As we all know, Ash lost his right hand, so he uses the boomstick with his left hand. This holster cannot be changed to a left hand draw without extremely heavy modification. This is disappointing, because I got a replica chainsaw hand to go with the costume, and now it just looks weird with this right-canted boomstick on my back. 5: Overall. If you just want the harness to complete the look, or you don't have a chainsaw and don't mind the inauthentic cant, and if you're small enough in the chest that it can sit comfortably, and if you don't mind tweaking and modifying it to make it fit right, then it will do the trick. The materials do actually look quite nice, and the buckle and accouterments seem rather close to the real thing. I can't recommend it for people my size, but if you're willing to put in the effort and have the right size frame, then it should do the trick.

Everyone complaining about this. It's a very good quality holster and for a last minute addition to my cosplay, it completely blew past my expectations. The holster strap needs some work, but fits with my body type and I'm 6'1 and just above 200lbs. The rest of this harness is gorgeous and fits my boomstick with space to spare for quickdrawing

This needs to be fixed to make it comfortable and usable. First, it's not even finished - you need to put a rivet on to work with a belt. Second, there are no instructions for getting a better fit, and no adjustments. For $50, this should be a lot better than it is.

one size does not fit all. its hard to put on. there is no sizing in the info except one size fits all. the material is nice but it is not good for any one over a small size build

Comes together nicely, looks great, and adds that extra detail to your Ash costume for ComicCon.

This item is well constructed but not weill thought out and can only fits a few people. properly. It does not have adjustable straps around the chest, so makes it quite difficult if you have greater than a 34 inch chest. I found that stepping into the harness was the best way to get it on. This could easily be remedied if there were adjustable straps around the chest.

It tick me a few minutes to know how to put it on but when I did I loved it

The straps were not as pictured and poor quality. The studs holding the strap in place caused the strap to snap as I was putting the costume on. This was meant to be a usable prop for several outfits .The loose strap over the shoulder fell out straight away and would not stay in place. Would like the seller to contact me to resolve the issue. Would highly recommend avoiding this product, the pictures are very decieving and the product will disappoint.
