Top 50 Classic Rock Hits: Easy Piano

This book is chockful of great songs written in easy to play keys. I especially enjoy the Eagles, Springsteen, and Journey hits included in the book. Whiter Shade of Pale(Procul Harum) is easy to play,but captures the baroque feel of the original.When I hunt for piano books on the Internet, I use Dan Coates as a search parameter. He arranges great songs from all eras with enough complexity so that they don't sound like single note "fake book" arrangements.Only weakness is binding. If you want to play from this book, get it spiral bound at your nearest office supply store. Best $5 you'll ever spend !

great book. great conditions... love it and will use it to play music at home.

I've been taking piano lessons for only about a year. I am learning to play "Open Arms" from this book, and I am enjoying it, the arrangement is playable for me with my instructor's direction. I hope Dan Coates will continue to do more easy piano books!

I am teaching myself piano using some of the popular method books out there. It can be boring to practice the same stuff over and over again. So I bought this book. It is exactly what I needed! Beautiful arrangements, yet easy enough, and fun to play! The only drawback is binding, which can be fixed by going to the office supply store. This book is excellent though!

I like Dan Coates' arrangements as they are easy to play on the piano.
