Works very well
Plants really take off after using for a couple days. Algae died off and isn’t able to take hold. Great product when used accordingly. Makes plants super healthy and will need to also make sure you give the plants root tabs to keep up the health and size.

Good product
I used to have algae problem. So I started using this product every other day and now all my algae problem went away. It really works. But warning, my vallisnaria plants don’t like it, they all died. But it didn’t affect my other plants, they all thriving. Once my small bottle was finished I ordered this bigger bottle to have more for a better price.

Works great taking care of algae and black moss.
Works great taking care of algae and black moss. I use it from time to time to control algae in my 180 and 5 gallon tanks.

Pricey - Works Great for Aquarium Plants (But Not As Good as Injected CO2)
Good DIY or injected CO2 alternative. I used this on a smaller fully planted aquarium (15 gal.). Plants looked great with combination of florescent aquarium/ plant lights found at Wal-Mart and a Finnex Stingray LED strip for plants needing higher light. Growth rate of the easy to "medium" difficulty to raise plants I had was excellent. If you don't want wild pH swings with DIY CO2 or don't want to lay out the $250 investment for injected CO2 set-up, this may be a good interim alternative but it's pricey. I would bite the bullet, buy a 5lb. CO2 tank (refills $15-$20) and a Milwaukee regulator and pH controller. Long-term, injected CO2 is a more cost effective alternative. I believe injected CO2 set-ups outperform Excel.

Fishtank stuff
Great price compared to Petco, Petsmart and the usual fish stores. My husband uses this in both his aquariums to keep the water fresh and decrease the algea.

Works like a magic
This made a huge difference for my planted fish tank. Before I started using it my plants were melting and would not grow. Now it’s a jungle in making
