Bayer Expert Care Tapeworm Dewormer for Cats (3 count)

Great product!

One dose and the worms were gone. This is a stray cat that enjoys eating and sleeping indoors with my family. However, the dead worms on the bed comforter was gruesome. I had tried drops but read reviews on this product. For the price it worked surprisingly well. The insert was not clear as far as application. But we looked it up on line to clarify that one dose of one pill will work. they provide 3 in the box which is great to have for back up. I never imagined that one pill would get rid of them immediately. I can't tell you how the cat reacted as he is an outdoor cat so his business is watched only by mother nature. FYI. I crushed the pill in a plastic throw away cup with the back of a spoon. Once crushed into a fine powder I added it to the tablespoon of wet food to be certain he would consume the entire dose.

I'd say for the price this works pretty good. The cat had just stopped eating anything and was losing weight. We mixed this in with some Tuna Fish to hide the flavor. One, because we knew he'd eat tuna fish, no matter what and two, because other people said you'd need to hide the flavor. It made him pretty sick for a couple of days and then he got better. But for over a week, he completely avoided my sister and he glared at her, like "You tried to Poison Me" neither he, nor the another cat would accept food from her for a couple of weeks. But, he did get better and started putting on weight again. My advice, don't have the cat's main caregiver give this to the cat, because I got stuck with feeding both those cats. The critters are smarter than you think and he knew she made him sick and it came from the tuna fish she gave him. This was cheaper than most of the other remedies. These are two of our outdoor rescue cats that never come indoors, so we can't afford to spend much on their health care and there's no way you could get these cats in to a vet. It works good just have to mix it with cat food

Arrived promptly without any issues. Very pleased with the ease of administration. The pill easily crumbles with just your fingers, so mixing it in with your cat's food makes this a very nice product for both you and your cat. Bayer does not provide the best dosing explanation, but that is not something the seller can control. 1 pill should do the job, but if the cat has a significant case of tapeworms, consider waiting 10 days before giving a second pill. This is one of the ways the same drug is prescribed for humans with 1 of the 3 most common tapeworms. This will address the larvae that remain after the primary tapeworm is killed with the initial dose.

For only three tabs its a bit pricey. So long as it works its cheaper than taking my cat to the vet.I tried giving a fine crushed tab in his favorite treat. Huge mistake.Maybe outdoor cats are les finicky. But my boy took two licks and refused the rest. One pill down the drain.Today I did the open mouth drop down the throat. I was really nervous doing this. But it went so easily!Im only giving three stars right now because of the price and I need to wait and see how well this medication works to rid the worms.If it does work good Ill definitely update my review.Crossing my fingers this product works!

Needed the product but nobody had it local

Had to crunch it to powder for my cat, hide it in wet food, add more food to disguise the taste. He finally ate it all over the course of the day. 3 days later, no more tapeworm!
