The two weeks of waiting for your new five-dollar balisong comb to come in the mail is a great time to mentally prepare for the journey to become a total badass. During this time it is recommended that you study under the ancient techniques of flipping by binge watching as many balisong youtube tutorials as possible. Then of course comes the day that you finally receive your comb, oh what a glorious day indeed. Naturally after watching hours of balisong videos you may feel that you’ll be a flipping master the second you pick up your comb. Sadly this is not the case; however it doesn’t take too long to get the hang of couple simple moves. By the second day of some pretty consistent practicing you’ll start to feel like Frank Castle in the 2004 version of the Punisher, which pretty much means you’ll have mastered the most basic balisong move there is. It should be mentioned that by this point in time (unless you used loctite) your balisong comb is probably going to be in pretty bad shape. In addition to being patched together in several different locations with duck tape, you’ll probably be missing the hinge latch as well. While this may be a negative aspect for some, I feel that it really gives the comb a little bit of some much-needed personality. Pretty soon you’ll be very aware that your comb is most likely more than half way through its lifespan, yet also pleasantly surprised that it actually lasted this long in the first place. All in all, this is a good buy.

We ordered this for our son and he is very happy with it, been flipping it about and no troubles with it at all, heavy and seems to be well made. Wasn't meant to get here until Sept 5 till October 3. He received it today 9 days after ordering! I was surprised, as was our son.

Straight out of the box it was terrible, it was loose and it had a very weird feelI was messing around with it one time and I dropped it IT WAS COMPLETELY DESTROYEDSo I got another one and the bite handle was so messed up I never picked it up again

This butterfly comb is a great thing to fiddle with and impress people with. You can flip this out at the office or at your house and it is great fun. It works well as a trainer and a comb. After a while one of the screws in the handle got loose but that is an easy fix with an allen wrench. This is a great toy to play with.

The product will NOT be the same as the photo. I expected bad quality, given the price, and bought it more for novelty than anything, but after maybe a cumulative time of probably not even three hours the thing's broken. Don't buy unless you won't be flipping it much or know how to replace a tang pin (it's not hard, just buy a roll pin. But it's still inconvenient).

Ordered in September, delivered in January. Son bought two on accident which turned out okay since one promptly broke. The second one seems to be holding up okay.

I was ripped off. This was ordered by my 12 year old son. How disappointed he was. What. Great lesson in dis honesty. I need a refund from amazon but am having trouble with customer service

Good looking and flips well but super sharp. Almost too sharp to actually use and it also rips your hair out.
