48 oz Sports Borosilicate Glass Water Bottle with Bamboo Lid with Neoprene Sleeve

I can’t get the smell out of the bottle, even when removing the cover. I’ve cleaned it at least 5 times, but the chemical smell won’t go away. The cover smells the worst. It was definitely made in China. Save your money.

CONTEXT:After watching a documentary about teflon and plastic etcetera, and learning that all similar products leech into the water, I opted to start using glass. After using a Hydro, I was a little bit bummed that my water wouldn't be cold AF for hours on end, but I figured it was worth the sacrifice. I have smaller glass bottles, but with as much as I workout, I needed a way to track and increase my intake. I found this one and immediately needed it because of its size!PROS:- The neoprene sleeve it comes with actually does a pretty good job of keeping the water cold AND helps with keeping the condensation at bay. It never gets soaking wet.- It holds so much water! One bottle of this a day is one 1.4 liters.- Water just tastes so much better. I don't care what anyone says... water tastes better out of glass.- The handle addition on the neoprene is a huge plus! It helps with lugging this thing around.CONS:- This isn't really a con for me, BUT I know it will be for others. The water doesn't stay cold for hours... I live in Hawaiʻi, so naturally, it gets warm pretty quick (but keep reading for tips). If you live somewhere cold, like Washington, I don't think you'll really have a problem. :)- Obviously, this bottle is pretty freakin large. So carrying it around can be a b-word.TIPS:- I learned that putting ice in my bottle helps a lot with keeping it cold throughout the day (not even kidding). I usually fill the bottle with 1/4 ice and the rest with filtered water. By the time I am getting to the bottom of my bottle, the ice has melted, but the water is still cold.OVERALL:I can't recommend this bottle enough. It is perfect for me!

So I have had this bottle for about two months now. It was great. Fantastic even. But last night the bottom of it popped off and caused the drink that was inside it to go everywhere. Now since it has been more then 1 month I am unable to return via Amazon. If possible I would appreciate a replacement but I am not going to hold my breath. Word of warning to those thinking to buy this item. The glass along the outer side is decently thick. But the glass at the very bottom is very thin. About as thin as the average wine glass.

I've had this for only a few months and the main issue is its carrier case is ripping already. This is obviously a problem because when it inevitably tears completely, the bottle inside is glass. Not good. It is also rather difficult to drink out of, as picky as that may sound. Many other bottles feature a drinking "spout" that make it ergonomically suited for drinking. No matter how carefully I drink from this, I almost always spill it down my shirt. Annoying.

There was a film inside the water bottle. No problem, I'll just gently hand wash it out. After washing I noticed a hairline crack around the entire bottom. If I filled it with water the bottom would have blown off at some point...

It’s a great bottle and the size is awesome. My only complaint is that the glass is way too thin. Within 2 weeks it broke with the slightest tap. I have other water bottles that are smaller and have lasted years because the glass is thicker. Just be very careful with it because it’s delicate.

I had it in the sleeve, filled halfway with water, and it fell from two feet height onto thick carpet and somehow still shattered to so many pieces inside the sleeve. I'm sooo sad. It's super cute (hence the two stars), but definitely not durable.P.S. Be careful when picking up the broken glass. My finger is all cut up now. ):

I was so excited to receive this product. I’m pregnant and have been told I need to up my water intake. I didn’t want to drink from plastic or from metallic flasks (unwanted pregnancy symptom: metallic taste in my mouth) so I found this super nice glass one.Unfortunately, on day 3 of use: it shattered into many pieces. I went to set it down on the floor for a moment and that’s when I learned I did not do it gently enough. I think the grey part got folded during landing and somehow that had something to do with it?I only docked one star because I don’t know if it was all my fault, or if the bottle’s extra fragility also played a part.Other than that, I loved it on those first two days! RIP water flask. I will have to resort to plastic or metallic now.

I bought one of these in April. Loved it. Keeps juice nice and cool in fridge. So I bought a second one. Had it only a week or so when I opened the fridge and saw that it had exploded, with a full container of orange juice splashed all over my fridge. So returned the pieces and bought another, thinking it was a flaw in the one. Opened the fridge today and the first one has exploded in fridge again (see photos). Have no idea why. What a mess cleaning this up. Glass and juice everywhere.

I was so happy with my purchase until I took it out if the box to use. The bottle leaks no matter how you adjust the cap or the rubber. I said "meh" it's not a big deal. I'll live with it because wow what a gorgeous bottle. BUT THEN NO. AFTER 2 DAYS IT COMPLETELY SHATTERED. No I did not drop it. As I was drinking it broke. TALK ABOUT DANGEROUS. I could of swallow glass. How does a bottle break in your hands? No I am not hulk. Just a very poorly made bottle for 30$! DO NOT BUY.

Es lo mejor, son dos litros, trae la bolsa para cargarla, la botella es de vidrio y la tapa ea de rosca con la parte interna de acero inoxidable. No guarda olores.Para mi que tomo mucha agua es genial ya la cempre dos veces y seguro la volvere a comprar si es necesario.

I like my glass bottle. It helps me know how much I drink a day and it’s glass so I don’t worry about water quality after leaving it in the bottle.Gets a bit heavy!

Dropped the bottle a short distance from the ground, and it shattered. Would not recommend buying this bottle as the glass is very thin.
