First of all, I would like to congratulate the cow responsible for this outstanding product. You gave your hide, and now your legacy lives on in genuine full-grain leather. Somewhere out there, a cow is looking down from the big green pasture in the sky, proudly thinking, "I always knew my skin would amount to something!" 🤣 Jokes aside, the leather looks great, feels substantial, and is perfect for tooling projects. The thickness is just what I was looking for, and the quality makes me think this cow must have spent its life eating premium grass and attending personal development seminars. Five stars for the leather, and a posthumous Employee of the Month award for the cow. May your legacy live on in wallets, belts, holsters, and one very confused leatherworker explaining to people why he's thanking livestock for his crafting supplies.

This dark brown genuine cowhide leather sheet is excellent quality. The leather is thick, durable, and has a rich, natural color that looks even better in person. I had a very specific "want" in mind - something to set glasses and bottles on in my bar cabinet that would not be the typical silicone bar mat, as it would be too thick. My first thought was to order one of those computer mats. Most would be $18 or more for whatever material, including fake leather, and real leather ones would be maybe $40 at the low end. I don't know why but I thought I'd see if amazon sold pieces of leather I could cut into a sheet and how much they'd be. I was surprised to find just what I wanted at a very reasonable price. This tooling sheet is ideal. It lays flat, has a rich color to it, and when I open the cabinet door, I'm hit with a great leather fragrance you find in those leather goods shops in Mexico and Central America. The sheet I received was true to size and "square", such that it had a 90-degree angle at each corner. Every cut was clean and straight. I couldn't be more pleased and am considering ordering a couple more for the lower shelves. Technically, they're just storage but I just like the smell. I am aware that I probably got super lucky getting such a perfect piece and if I do order more, I might not be as lucky, but, again, for my intended use, I won't mind.

Pros: The quality seems fine. It is a soft leather. It is roughly 2 mm thick. Neutral: The smoother side does mark up quite a bit as expected with leather. Con: The color is a lot darker than shown in the picture. I ordered dark brown and it is definitely brown but a VERY DARK brown. At first I thought it was black but it's definitely not black so I know it is what I ordered... I was just expecting the shade to be closer to the picture. Leather gets darker when it is oiled up so imagine that it is well oiled. That's how dark the smooth face is. The suede side is lighter and more the color I'd like but that's not the side I want to have showing. It's a good thing that a darker color is okay for what I am doing but not ideal. Rubbing the smooth side will lighten it up but not uniformly. For those who care: It is made in China.

Very nice. I'm making a leather case for an 18" masonry detail level. A bit thinner than I was expecting but very tough

I purchased the light brown color, but the leather that arrived was much darker than expected. 'Light brown' is subjective. The leather itself seems very low quality with very little (if any) leather smell and there is no grain to it, but it will work perfect for the liqueur box that I am making. If a decorative/show, rugged, or heirloom piece of leather is what you are after, I don't think this is the leather that you want. For everything else, this is decent. If I was looking for a high quality piece of leather, I would have returned this, however, another sheet was ordered for another project.

I wish there was an option to leave a zero star rating. This is NOT Genuine leather. The front is some kind of fabric poorly disguised as "leather" and the back is some sort of plastic/rubber backing. Totally misrepresented this listing. NOT HAPPY!

As soon as I held the piece of leather, I knew it was of great quality. I immediately brought out my digital micrometer to measure the thickness at multiple random points. The thickness ranged from 2.1+ mm to 2.5+ mm. The leather exceeded my expectation.

The seller sent me two leftover pieces of leather, and the whole thing was very strange and disappointing. It showed a complete lack of care and professionalism. I definitely do not recommend buying from this seller.

Quality of product supplied was as described / expected. Some care/maintenance guideline would make the it even more attractive for buyers

Happy ,small . I should have measured. Good for wallet , ( outer ) l have thin leather for wallet pockets.
