Other reviewers need to learn....
I have several trailers at our cabin (boats, snowmobiles, enclosed) that are constantly needing to be moved around. My smaller truck has an 1 1/4" hitch on it (new) and I wanted to be able to use my 2" balls on it. This works PERFECTLY. At first I didn't think this was going to fit and I would have to return like other reviewers stated, however after closer inspection I realized that between the hitch and reciever the was just some extra paint causing it not to fit. A block of wood and a hammer and this thing fit perfectly. You want it to fit as snugly as possible and this does. The first time you remove it it is a pain but after that it slides in and out no problem. A little WD helps too

Exactly what I needed converting 1 1/4 ATV receiver to standard 2” receiver for cargo carrier .
Exactly what I needed to adapt 1 1/4 ATV receiver to standard 2” to mount a cargo rack.Only problem, the pin attachment hole was drilled on an angle and I had to re-drill the hole in order to get the pin through. If not for that manufacture defect, it would have been a “5”.

very sturdy
I had no problems with this fitting into my 1.25" tow hitch. It does stick out a little far, but since I am using it with a bike rack, I don't have a problem with the length of the externsion. This thing is heavy and sturdy. Be aware, I know the post says it is rated for 3500lbs, and I believe it is sturdy enough to do so, but you have to remember, if you are using it with the 1.25" tow hitch, you have class I tow hitch weight restrictions. I believe the weight limit on my tow hitch itself it 2k lbs if I am pulling something and only 200lbs if I am carrying a rack. Please check your vehicle and tow hitch specifications before you try to pull something heavy.

Heavy duty!
Exactly what I was expecting. I'm using it for my heavy duty bike rack, which needs a 2" receiver. My SUV has a two inch receiver, but I bought a small care that only has a 1 1/4" receiver. Rather than buy another bike rack, this hitch adapter solves the problem.

Great downsize adaptation
Good strong product doing exactly what is required. A bit too long for my application. Unable to shorten due to pin hole placement.

This is American made with pride this is a 5 star item.
As a person who desires quality this is what will hold my trailer to my car while adapting the class 3 hitch 1 1/4 inch tube to a 2 inch receiver hitch. This is made with solid steel is a solid 1 1/4 bar welded to receiver tube. This is a product that I believe will be stronger than the mount it is meant to adapt but stronger is better.

Does exactly what I needed! Can use our bike rack again!
We traded in our van and got a smaller vechile. In doing so we lost the 2" trailer hitch, the new vechile could only get a 1 1/4 " hitch. This adapter is working great so we can continue to use our bike rack. I had to buy a hitch tightener to get rid of some wobble but that isn't a big deal. The price for this was lower than anywhere else I could find.

For when the hole isn’t big enough.
I just slap it in there .

looks like it will work just fine...
Unfortunately I accidentally order two, to return one it is almost half the cost so I will just keep it and sell it on line to someone else. This will work for me and enabling me to tow my little rv.
