Better than the one suppled when bought

This is just about acceptable. It came without instructions on how to put it together and the supplied nut did not fit and had to be replaced. Why the base has 2 parts I don’t know. It does fit the barrel of my Makita trimmer router but the moulding for the track does not fit the supplied Makita part. It also lacks a tube to attach a dust extraction hose.

There is NO adjustment mechanism on this piece of plastic despite there being one shown on the photo's. The nuts and bolts supplied for assembly don't have the same thread size and the "quick release mechanism" is a piece of fiction due to the one cap nut supplied not being able to engage with any part of the mechanism.This product should be removed from the listings as the photos seem to show an entirely different item to that which was received.

Very basic, with no instructions. Does not come with the adjusting mechanism as shown in the photo but does clamp on to my palm router.

Bought for my Makita trimmer,snug fit but does the job for hinge jig

useless rubbish

This item is so cheaply made and is not as described, only has pulled over locking point, and hasn’t got screw adjustment as pictured.. hole is too small for locking bolt too. See gap in photo… Genuine Makita square base is only £2.50 more spend your money more wisely.

An excellent well made addition to your trim router. I was able to adapt it to my particular needs very easily and would not have been able to with a lesser quality item.
