This mouse is completely Bluetooth wireless... All you need is one double A battery. Then turn on your Bluetooth on your computer let it sync. The name of the mouse is on the back and that is what you're looking for to sync with your computer. Once that's connected everytime you turn on your computer just turn on your mouse and it will automatically connects(after the syncing process of course). I hope this was helpful.
