New to archery, and new hunter here. Did tons of research on all sorts of bows on amazon and other stores/websites. I Whent with the raptor due to everything being in one package (sight, sight light, arrow rest, quiver, stabilizer, limb dampiners, string silencer, d-loop, peep, and warranty) My friend, also new to archery/hunting bought a bow on amazon as well, the SAS feud, and although he really likes it, it didnt come with the complete kit, she he ended up spending about 100 more then i did for the same setups. I havent been able to bring it by a pro shop yet but i followed the setup video and bought cheap arrows and i can get it to shoot fairly straight. And keep in mind this is my first ever bow. Once i get it sighted and setup by a pro i will update once again. Very easy to adjust the draw weight and length. On the draw weight adjusment it gets really hard to turn the bolt but it will turn, and sometimes it feels like you strip a bolt (gets easy to turn the hard to turn again and squeaks), but its fine keep on turning and the bolt will keep moving. I used a tape measure to measure the distance between the limb pockets and riser to make sure both are equal distance/equal weight and did one complete turn on one bolt, then did one complete turn on the other bolt. The cable slide makes a twang/creeking noise when drawing the bow but this should be an easy fix by lubricating the cable guard rod.UPDATE 2 YEARS LATER:Still using this bow for hunting. I have shot it probably close to 2000 times and everything's perfect on it. I have dragged an elk out of thick woods with this bow on my back getting smashed around by tree limbs and was perfectly fine. The Only thing that has need to be replaced is the d loop from natural ware. The strings that came with the bow are okay and have held up so far, soon I will re string it. All of my buddy's have biotech, hoyts, and Matthew's, and I shoot just about as good as them. You start noticing a different on shits 50 yards plus, the nicer bows keep the arrow path alot more straight, but this bow definitely gets the job done. Honestly a great bow for the price, and when I eventually buy a higher class bow, I will keep this bow for a back up. Extremely happy with my purchase.

I ordered this bow based on online reviews and testimonials. I do not plan on using this bow for years and years on end, but rather as an introductory bow into compounds and archery hunting. The delivery of the bow was incredible. I ordered on 5/15/2019 and it was delivered the next day from California to Massachusetts for no extra cost (prime member).The bow is contained in a styrofoam box. Once opened, I was unable to get the bow to fit back inside and close the lid. The first thing I noticed was that the paint job was quite marked up. The paint was chipped in many places. I will post pictures as soon as I can. The accessories were relatively easy to mount; I did have some trouble with the horizontal adjustment pin for the sight. The quality of the accessories themselves seems low. The sight and the rest feel sturdy. The bases of those are metal while the circular housing for both are plastic. The upper part of the quiver was loose for me even after I completely set the screw. The lower part of the quiver is a rubber material which is not able to bear the weight of the bow without bending. Once set up, I took the bow to a local archery shop for tuning.The performance of the bow was very good. After a little buyers remorse when setting up the accessories and showing the tech the bow, I was pleasantly suprised when I was shooting similar, if not better, groups than the people with $800-$900 Hoyts and Matthews beside me. This bow will definitely outshoot my ability for the time being. The only thing left unanswered is the durability, which I will update when I can say for sure.I would highly recommend spending the money to have a professional tune the bow for poundage, and draw length, as well as inspect the bow for safety. You would hate for something to have happened during shipping and the bow blows up in your face (Register the warranty before anything else though). I also had arrows cut to the right length and the spine set for the poundage. Very happy with my purchase, just a little sad the paint job came the way it is. Canadian buyer; the bow came with a 68 dollar custom broker service fee which was apparently necessary for our Federal governement to collect $10 in GST value added tax! There was no duties to be paid, so $68 was spent to collect $10. How efficient!Other than that the bow is excellent and accurate. I had it assembled by a professional and was shooting 12 inch circles at 20 then 30 yards within an hour of sighting in. The assembly instructions say see assembly video for quiver install instructions. When I tried to see the video it said coming soon was under construction. I hope the supplier gets it running soon. Also, on the USA amazone the bow can be purchased with a hard case and a release at excellent price. The package was not offered on Amazone.ca Too bad, because the package is well worth it. Good product good price.
