Loved so far, let's see how long they last?
This was a surprise gift (encouragement to keep up on the great job with his potty trainging)for my 2.5 yr old foster son. He loves loves loves garbage trucks I did not see what I wanted on Amazon took a chance on these....6 different trucks which he does know his types! He loved his surprise when he got it! He had to to sleep with two of them last night! Adorable!!!! All the doors open on each vehicle( no little drivers inside....he noticed) The crane does have me concerned ...." very thin plastic at the hook"... don't see that lasting appearing too fragile. The mail carrier too has very thin plastic doors may break off at the hinges any minute. The most important truck that he focuses on the most...."the garbage truck"!!!! He wanted to put stinky garbage inside, I ripped up paper into tiny pieces etc...got too be careful what you give a toddler small objects can be a choking hazard! This is a long review I know just wanted to share the joy while it's fresh and new. Good value for what you get. Quality is OK like I mentioned, the pieces WILL break off eventually..hopefully later , rather than soon. I tried the pull back across the floor...Maybe that means something different then I think?? I tried pulling back on the trucks and it did nothing. I pushed down gently and aimed forward and it felt like a zooming traction and off it went, pretty fast when I did so, my son the same thing. He rather play moving them around without zooming on the floor!

Great trucks!
My son is impressed that these vehicles have assisted movement if you push them, doors that open, and parts that move and dump! I bought these for sand toys as I’ve had a hard time finding trucks specifically for sand play, but my son says that these are too nice for sand play. They are more durable, made with thicker plastic than most smaller trucks out there. The price is right for this set.

Nice trucks
We were very happy with this purchase. We gave it to our grandson for his 3rd birthday. The trucks are a nice size. Bigger than Matchbox but smaller than big trucks. The doors open and there are other movable parts. They seem to be made sturdily. If you roll the vehicles backwards, they will roll forward by themselves. Our grandson seemed to like them very much!

Won't be an heirloom but fairly decent toys for the money.
Pretty impressive toy quality given the price. This will never be an heirloom but there's a pretty good amoutn of functionality (rubber tires on the wheels, pullback mechanism, extending boom on the crane truck, and little accessory pieces like the spout to direct sand/"cement" from the back of the cement mixer vehicle are nice touches. Compared to my kids other favorite construction set (the CAT Caterpiller mini machines which retail for <$6 for 5 vehicles), these feel far less flimsy. While good deal cheaper, the CAT toys had tires/wheels that were only cast on half a side and most were just made of two pieces of plastic fit together + some stickers. I wouldn't necessarily think they will last for a kid that abuses toys (tries to rip open doors, throws the vehicles, etc) but all in all I'm pretty happy with the purchase. NOTE: I had to clean some playdoh from the back of the recycling truck and was pleasantly surprised that there were two small screws I could use to remove the back door. The fact that the back was removable at all was a nice touch and the fact that the screw holes actually seemed to have a little threading so reinstallation wasn't looser than before was also a pleasant surprise.

Excellent, inexpensive vehicles for the vehicle-lover in your life
Got this set for my vehicle-loving two-year-old grandchild, who can name types of cars, trucks, construction vehicles, vans, etc (and has taught grandma quite a lot). For slightly more than 3 bucks a pop, you get well-made, friction powered vehicles that do what they ought to do: a dumper that dumps, an excavator that scoops, a crane that telescopes, and a cement mixer with a turning drum. Add to this small, but significant details such as doors that open, cabs that swivel, and interiors that have seats and tiny steering wheals, and you get quite a big bang for your $18.94. These are hard plastic, not at all flimsy. I've ordered die-cast metal vehicles for a lot more $$$ that were much less durable and lacking the realistic and entertaining details that this little set offers. If you've got a child who's into all things on wheels, try this set out!

Construction trucks
My great grandson loved these construction trucks.

Great buy but plastic is not hard plastic.
Great buy, the doors open, you can put stuff in the garbage truck and unload it. The ladder from the crane moves up and down, very realistic looking toys. They are also bigger than a hot wheels. Grateful set of toys. The only con is that if your child throws then and they hit the floor I am not sure if they will survive. Definitely not for the kind of kid that throws toys in the air. The plastic is not hard plastic, a hot wheels is more durable.

Great toys for kids who love trucks
Nice touches on these trucks - the push/drive mechanism works well, the detail and molding are better quality and more realistic looking than many others, and the doors, bed lifts, rear doors, etc., work and work well. While I can see the doors being prone to being broken, that's life with a three year old with active hands - these things are gonna get jumped, crashed, tossed, kicked, stepped - they aren't designed to survive re-entry, just to work and be neat for a while in a child's life. And that, they do...
