Genius Idea!
This product is genius. Let me explain.Anyone who has hip and thigh fat knows how difficult it is to lose fat in those areas if you have ever been on a weight reduction plan. Females, you know what I am talking about, right?! I have lost more than 90lbs, but still have large thighs and continue to be estrogen dominant (because fat cells also sequester estrogen in the body). I am dealing with the estrogen dominance separately. That said, if you have read any material by Lyle McDonald, he refers to stubborn fat in these areas (hips and thighs) due to the types of receptors that make it difficult to mobilize that fat. Genetically-speaking, your body will also determine the sequence in how fat is lost and where. Obviously metabolism plays a gigantic role in weight reduction/muscle building as well. For me, cardio only seems to result in the reduced areas reducing further. Weights builds arms and shoulders nicely, but if I don't train my legs at least 3 times per week, I don't see results in my thighs (and they say spot training doesn't work!). This means that above the waist I am a size 6, and waist down I am a size 10! Argh!I literally started looking into things like CoolSculpting and radiofrequency, except that it is expensive and results are not guaranteed. So, who wants to spend thousands of dollars and not see optimal results?! Not only that, but my fear is that applying extreme heat and cold may cause nerve damage in some way. Yes, I get it - these processes are supposedly safe, but I have read multiple stories where folks didn't fare so well. However, many folks report a lot of success with processes like CoolSculpting, but they only last if you have already modified your lifestyle permanently. This got me to thinking about the heat and cold - and I would prefer to deal with heat than cold (I always think of hypothermia!). If you apply a reasonable amount of heat, you would increase blood flow to that area, which is exactly what my thighs need (since classically thigh fat doesn't have a lot of blood flow, like say, upper body). A cream such as this has this exact goal in mind - to increase blood flow through heat. My understanding of cellulite is that it is in the most superficial layers of the skin, so likely applying any type of lotion would smooth out the skin as it temporarily sequesters water below the surface, but it just may not increase blood flow. (Honestly, I have not researched cellulite, but have researched extensively about thigh fat!)It is clear on the box that the seller's intention is to increase blood flow to wherever this cream is applied AND then you would exercise, which would theoretically activate those receptors and mobilize the fat in that area. On a side note, I had purchased a Dermawand as an experiment with the same concept in mind although I couldn't find anyone who was using it to target their thighs. From what I can glean, the Dermawand uses a low radiofrequency (approved for home use) and when applied to the skin, it mildly heats up the skin. My thought was combining the cream and this contraption to see what would happen, but I figured it would take about 2-3 months before I would see anything different. (How many of us are willing to wait that long?!)I think it was about 2 weeks and the "thigh bumps" were literally being reduced and I was suddenly able to get into my "goal" jeans. There were times when I applied the cream and applied the dermawand in the morning and in the evening without working out. Other times I simply applied to cream prior to exercise. Of course, the first time I applied the cream, applied the Dermawand, and then went to sleep, I felt like my body was on fire - I didn't sleep at all!! As I continued to use the cream, it still warmed up quite a bit, but not like the first couple of times. I also learned that washing that cream off the hands is critical because you will definitely pay the price if you touch other parts of your body with those hands - like rubbing your eyes!I don't know if other reviewers are expecting miracles or what, but you can't simply apply a cream to your body and expect weight loss. Trust me, if it existed, I would have known about it by now! The idea behind this cream is to increase blood flow to help your body mobilize fat stores so that when you DO work out, (hopefully) it will be easier to reduce fat from those hard-to-get areas.

May be a helpful if included with other actions
I initially was attracted to this gel because it included PPC in its ingredients. I had read a small study where such a gel combined with red light and a gel combined with a treadmill had both positively affected the appearance of cellulite 100% better than exercise alone. But those of us that are in shape and not overweight already know it takes more .I'm 5'5 and 118 lbs and wear a size 4 and sometimes 6. Cellulite first appeared for me during adolescence and various exercise, massagers etc have sometimes diminished it somewhat but never has it been completely gone.. We know it's biological, genetic etc and doesn't require obesity. Just mostly being female. At some point most woman will get it. But we can do things that help. After 7 weeks of using this gel along with cardio, resistance and red light therapy I can say that I'm much more toned, firm and the cellulite on my legs has much improved ....but Ive also stepped up walking, cycling, resistance/weights and red light therapy. It's never just one thing so I never expect one magic bullit. I also intend to keep improving over the next several months. It takes time and patience to make a change.I suggest you do everything possible to increase circulation...dry brush, massage, vibration plate....cut out sugar and down on carbs....exercise and drink water.....try red,nr light therapy...and give this gel a try. I think it helps.

Feel the Burn!
The product works best on clean semi-dry skin. Do not, I repeat Do not put anything else on the area you are treating. I like to slather on my special brew of oils, but the oils will block the thermogenic effect of the product. Some people may say the product only heats up the skin, but with consistent use, I have personally seen results. I am 5'1 122 lbs.My legs are more toned and smooth than they were 30 days ago and I only use the product 3-4 days per week.I also workout 2-3 times per week. The gel really works but you have to be committed as with anything to get good results.I'm on my second bottle.Give it a try!

It actually works!
I started noticing my skin was looking “old lady” on the back of my legs. I use this 2-3 times a week with a red light and am truly amazed at the results. I didn’t think it would work as well as it does. It gets really hot, so if you have sensitive skin or don’t think “pain is the price of beauty”, this may not be for you. I will definitely buy again. Also, a little goes a long way so the price is not as ridiculous as it might seem at first glance.

It burns!!!!!
Oh my gosh!!!! It burns so bad after you put it on. And the burn lasts for 15-20 minutes. And I used a small amount!!! Tried twice & happened both times. Felt like my legs were on fire!! My son thought I was exaggerating so he put a small drop on each leg & rubbed it around. He was jumping around room screaming & ended up getting ice packs to cool his legs down. Too bad I can't find the box to send it back. I can't believe anyone could used this!!!!
