Works beautifully
Great replacement part! Make sure you read the instructions through before starting. Not as easy as youtube makes it look, but easy enough for someone handy. And it works great - smoother movement than the one replaced.

So far so good!
Was easier than I thought to install. It works great.

Original part counts!!
None of the local hardware stores carry this part (Ace, Home Depot, Lowe's), so I tried a substitute that is "equivalent" to this part. The installation was fine but about 3 weeks later, it was acting up, turning completely 360 and did not stop. Later water was shooting out of it, the pipes were humming like the pressure was building up and it was about to burst! I had to quickly shut off the main water to the house, after managing to save a few buckets for later use. Thank goodness I found this item here on Amazon. The brand said it is "Delta Faucet" so I kept my fingers crossed. It was 1 day late for delivery (said it was running late, prob due to Mother's Day, which was when it was supposed to have been delivered). When it finally arrived (the day after Mother's Day), I checked and it said it is "Delta genuine part), so I went to work. Carefully following the directions and installing it (it really is easy but I was being extra careful). Once done, it gave me no problem, no water shooting out or humming like it was about to burst. Thank you for carrying this original part!!

Fixed the leak
Easy to install and fixed the leak in my single-handled shower control. If you have a leak, you may want to consider getting just the adapter portion of this cartridge (RP46073) which would be much cheaper. If the RP46073 doesn't fix the leak, then buy this cartridge, which includes the RP46073. Unfortunately, with these types of shower controls, the old days of replacing less expensive o-rings are gone - you need to replace the entire unit, which is pricey at $40.Also note that the newer version of the adaptor (RP46073) which contains the seats, springs, and quad seal, does not have a screw. You can still use this adaptor in a valve that had a screw-type adaptor. As a previous poster pointed out, view the Delta video on YouTube (search for "How to Replace a Delta Tub or Shower Cartridge" posted by Delta Faucet) for detailed replacement instructions.Pros:- well built original equipmentCons:- much pricier than replacing washers/grommets/seats

Buy DELTA - not the cheeper "no-name"
We have two Delta faucets. One in each bath. I replaced these inserts 2 years ago with the 1/2 price of Delta faucet. They got stiff to work in about a year, and one broke at the end of two years. I spent more and got Delta's original equipment, and they work much better right off the bat. A lesson in buying original equipment for me.

Easy and it worked!
I love anything plug-n-play, and this was definitely that. Pulled the old one out and put this one in, and voila! It worked! A super easy to install. Can’t believe I considered paying a plumber for this job. Watch videos on YouTube on how to install. Btw, my shower handle says Delta “17/17T Multichoice” on it and it worked fine.
