Dang Crispy Caramelized Onion Chips, Sea Salt, 24 Count

Dang!! These are like "onion crack" - after you try one, I double-dog-dare you to put the bag down! These light and airy, crunchy snacks are so delicious!!No chemical taste, clean onion smell and taste from beginning to end! The salt-and-pepper version is perfectly seasoned and after snarfing down a bag in 24 hours, I had to re-order the BBQ and the Chipotle Garlic flavors! These are NOT like the French's canned onion strings, these are real "petals" of onion that have been gently dried to concentrate that onion-y flavor; then lightly dusted with seasonings. I would suggest simple snacking on these given the premium cost - but for the top-quality of these onion snacks I think the higher price is worth it!

These onion chips are very tasty! The only reason that I didn't leave a 5 star review was because they were a tad sweet for my liking. My husband on the other hand absolutely LOVED them, sweetness and all. I'll admit that I am an avid lover of Funyuns onion flavored rings. Yes, they are artificial but so darn good. I just craved that onion flavor! The Dang Onion Chips are MUCH better because they ARE real onions, not just onion flavored. :) The taste is very natural. Yes, they do make your breath a bit stinky but you would normally have that from eating onions anyway so it wasn't a big deal to me.The packaging is very high quality and sturdy. It feels like a very premium product before you even open the package. I also love that each bag is resealable. That definitely helps keep the chips much fresher. (even though I don't think that would be a problem for us anyway since we just couldn't stop eating them) We tried them as a garnish in our salad and even on sandwiches! It adds a delicious pop of flavor and a wonderful crunch, too. I preferred these in salad over croutons, they just have so much more flavor. The airy, crispy texture just makes the chips melt in your mouth. I will definitely be keeping my eye out for more flavors/products from this company. We are definitely fans! I received only 1 bag when the title says "bags". Over $9 for 1 bag, when I can buy them for under $5 at a store, is a TOTAL rip off! I feel swindled by the very manufacturer!

I heard this product mentioned on the radio and thought I would try them. I was very disappointed in the BBQ flavor. It is strong but not onion-strong, too smoke strong. I am even more disappointed now that I found them carried locally at Whole Foods for half the price. Yes, I paid $4.49 at Whole Foods for the same bag. I will. It buy them from Amazon again.

No warning this was in the bag and it hides itself well within the chips. I put handful onion chips in mouth started chewing and bit something hard which ended up being the little crystals in the freshness packet, that's how i found out it had freshness packet in the bag. This could be unsafe for children.(2) If you eat too many onion chips in one sitting, it may have tendency to make you little queasy in stomach.(3) Found an unfinished product in bag, which was a thin sliver of onion.This is a good healthy snack if you don't try to be a gluten and eat whole bag at once like me and be aware there is a flavor packet mixed in with the chips.

These are the bomb! They are soft, packed with flavor, contain an undeniable crunch, and have that irresistible, can't deny it, I want more taste. I'm in love. I don't say that with snack foods often, but this has me hooked. Dang is Damn right! I was talking about them and my mother's comment was, "Hmmm. Get me some".The unique tangy taste is a hit in my house!! I've tried both the original (plain) and the Applewood BBQ. I've placed an order for the Applewood BBQ. I love the soft, delectable, crisp crunch mixed with the twang. I 'm not passing the bag on the original, those work for me! The texture and distinct flavor work together to make the chips stand out!

I am always looking to try new and interesting foods. And when I saw this one I couldn't wait to try it. As a family we all gathered around to try these and we all had our favorites. My husband loved the bbq and I am more simple and preferred the sea salt. The bags are a very nice quality bag and the seal on it is great. If you can manage not to finish all of these in one sitting you know that they will taste just as fresh when you go to eat them later. The taste is a little unique but in a good way. They are light, crispy and have a great texture. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest unbiased review.

I am currently deployed, and I bought them thinking it would be a healthy snack FOR JUST ME. However when they arrived my entire office loved them! Luckily I bought a bunch or I would be out already! The onion chips are amazing. I got all 3 flavors, but my personal favorite is the chipotle garlic. I will must certainly be buying more and I believe people in my office have already bought more for them.
