Easy enough that a 64-year old arthritis sufferer can use it
I bought this because my physical therapist suggested that I switch from walking on a treadmill to riding a stationary bike for exercise (I have arthritis in my hip). I watched a couple of videos before buying this, which made it easier to set up once I received it. I've got it set up in my garage with my street bike on it. As noted by other reviewers, there is sound created by the tire tread on the resistance wheel, but I just turn up the volume on the music I'm listening to while I ride.

Good trainer - You get what you pay for - serves the purpose
Update: I have over 500 miles on this trainer and still going strong. I want a TACX Trainer but my budget says otherwise. I told my wife i was going to buy the TACX when i broke this one. I'm trying to break it but have not been successful yet. It's a no frills bike trainer. comes with 5 settings. It's easy to switch bikes. The wife and I alternate using it. For me, the highest setting is what i leave it at. to get a proper load, i have to shift my bike up to the highest gear. My wife however, doesn't have these issues. I pedal according to my garmin watch heart rate monitor. I bought a speed sensor that my watch reads so i can upload heart rate and speed to garmin and track my progress. I'm happy with it. In the future when i have too much money, i'd like to buy one of those "smart" trainers, but for now, I'll stick with this one. i used it as part of my training for a Century Ride in addition to riding outside up hills. I completed the Century Ride. Thinking about moving up to a more sophisticated Trainer. This is a good trainer though. it provides a load to pedal against.

Noise maker
I got rid of my treadmill for something that didn’t take up as much floor space. I normally work out while watching tv, but thing thing is 3X louder than my treadmill. Too noisy. Mine simply holds the rear tie up, but it is not hooked up for resistance. BUMMER!!!!…. A real disappointment. I own a longboard Mango. It hooked up with no issues…looks great, but TOO noisy!!!!

Found new use for an old bike, but not much resistance
This is nice for getting some use out of an old bike by converting it to an exercise bike. It was relatively easy to assemble except for the resistance dial which I could not affix to the handle bar for some reason. I think it is missing a nut for the bolt. It is not a big deal. I just wrapped the wire attached to the resistance dial a couple of times on the handle bar and it stays within reach when I am riding the bike. The entire assembly does feel pretty sturdy when I am riding the bike. It does not move around when I am pedaling on it. The noise when I ride the bike is not too bad either. My main complaint is that the resistance dial does not feel like it is changing the resistance of the bike at all. It feels like it is stuck in one setting. You can change the resistance by tightening the mounting screw at the back of the assembly, but this is not helpful when I want to change the resistance while riding the bike since I have to get off the bike to access the mounting screw.

Noisy! But sturdy
The media could not be loaded. Very noisy! But sturdy and easy to assemble, after doing some research I get to understand that noise is expected especially if you don't have the correct wheels, but I didn't expect that much! I'll wear my noise canceling earpods when working out, sorry for the rest of people in the house. It's very good and strong and stays put, but the noise!

Stable Trainer That Provides a Good Workout
This trainer takes up a minimal amount of space and is very easy to set up. It folds when not in use so you can easily store it in a closet or the basement. Assembly only takes a few minutes. All you have to do is attach the resistance wheel to the frame. The trainer also includes a quick release rear axle. The trainer features anti-slip rubber feet. Twisting the feet allows you to balance the trainer even on a floor that isn't level. This feature allows for a stable riding experience.Your bicycle is locked into place with an adjustable quick release mechanism. The bicycle is locked in position, but it's easy to release the mechanism and free the bicycle if you want to go for a ride. There is a resistance control that you attach to your handlebars. The control includes rubber spacers so it will fit on a wide variety of bicycles. This trainer allows you to get a workout on your regular bicycle. This means your bike fit will be the same in training and out on the road. This is a well-designed trainer that is quiet, effective, and compact.
