I wanted to weigh in on these silicon wig grips as I've seen quite a variety of opinions on them. First, I'm a full-time wig wearer with lots of experience with wig grips. In the past, I successfully used velvet-type wigs grips and I still like them. However, I recently buzzed my bio-hair (Just sick of it!!!) and when I did the velvet type grips started riding up on me for the first time. (before cutting my hair, my little pony tail helped to anchor the grip) I tried taping the velvet type and had mixed results. The worst of which was a nasty rash and sore skin wear the tape was! So back to these silicon ones. They ARE tighter than the velvet ones. However, I don't find them so tight that they are unwearable and I think I will get used to it with continued use. The best part, for me, is that the silicon grip hasn't slipped at all today. I've been wearing it now for about 7 hours and I think that if it was going to slip it would have done by now! I really like these grips and will continue to use them. My head is 22.5 inches, by the way, so I fall into the large/average head size. If your head is smaller than 22.5 I can't imagine the grip would be too tight. If you are large/average like me, I think the grip will feel snug but not uncomfortable. Hope this helps someone. I do not have hair and have been wearing wigs for some years now which do seem to slip and move. I found these silicon head bands on Amazon - bought them - wear them - and they are great! They work and are comfortable. Thanks Amazon.

these are great but if you got a big head dont bother..gave me a headache immediately but fits my sister perfect
