They work!
Works well. I put the little packets behind my books in my study and in my filing cabinets. There is no smell or mess. They keep silverfish away. You can tell they are working as you may see a tiny nibble on the edges of them, and find a few dead silverfish from time to time, but no live ones!

They appear to work!
These packets were easy to place. They were not messy, nor did they require any special -- other than common sense -- handling. I collect old magazines, pamphlets, brochures, etc. and, needless to say, these can be a silverfish banquet hall! I try and keep my treasures organized and packaged so they aren't conveniently available for noshing on, but that's not always quite possible; I'd begun seeing the hairy multi-legged silverfish scuttling -- and they are remarkably fast -- across the floor occasionally, and when you see them, you know you got 'em! After a little research for an effective remedy to the problem, I decided to give the topic product a try based on user reports -- I went ahead and ordered these through Amazon, and, as is typical, got them within a day or two. Spread them out on what I deemed to be 'runs' and noticed, after about a week, I wasn't seeing them anymore! Several weeks have elapsed now, and still NO more silverfish! Knock on wood! I'm hoping this product is responsible for the disappearance of the 'print' devastators -- and I will recommend it accordingly. To be on the safe side, suggest you get a couple of boxes (I did), because, like any insect-type repellent, they should be replaced periodically. A little pricey, but worth it when you consider the cost (and location time involved) of replacing a rare or scarce publication!:>)DWO

I was desperate for something to work!
I know insects are part of our life and yes it's not uncommon to have them in your house. But, I'm not like most people who can just deal with insects. Silverfish I know can do a lot of damage and as soon as I saw a few in my bathroom and 2/3 in my room I had to do something and I found these packets. I still see silverfish after I started using these packets and summer has not even started yet. However, almost every silverfish I have seen since I put these packets in seem to be sickly/dead or just slower in general. In the middle of the night I have even seen one sitting right next to the packet. So, I really would recommend this on top of keeping things extra clean. I appreciate that this has helped a little and given me a peace of mind!

Effective for eliminating silverfish
The only bug we seem to have an issue with in our home is silverfish. But we’ve been purchasing these for a couple years now, and it has significantly decreased the number of silverfish we see. And there a great value for the money

A little pricey, but give them some time, they DO work!
I don't understand all of these people expecting all silverfish to instantly die the second you place one of these packets in wherever area. It takes some time...it just does. I like these things because they are small, can be placed(or thrown) pretty much anywhere. With a few months I wasn't seeing ANY silverfish. Being a collector, I have a lot of old cardboard boxes for my retro gaming stuff, and have thrown in a few of these packets to be safe. Other areas include the bathroom, garage, laundry room, etc.

Replace often
These contain boric acid, you can also get a duster to shoot into cracks but it makes a mess, I use these these where I dont want a mess. You should mark the date you put them down on them with a sharpie , they lose effectiveness after a month . If you move them , sometimes silverfish will run out, so they do go inside and start munching.

Seems very effective!
Seems to be working…we’ve gone from seeing 2 or 3 per week to haven’t seen one in 2 weeks. Not a lot of sightings, but my goal is zero and it seems like we’re quickly moving in that direction! Would certainly purchase again and am pleased with this product!

Don't believe the lies. This product DOES NOT WORK
I've placed packs around where I've seen Silverfish - near the bathroom sink drain and near the tub drain - and also placed some around the tub, around the sink and under the sink just in case they make it past the others. Well, after a couple months of setting them out, these "traps" have not caught a single Silverfish. One day I spotted a Silverfish in the bathroom and went after it. It actually ran under the "trap" ti hide from me. Another night I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and saw one laying next to the "trap" in the tub. I fanned it to see if it would move, and it didn't. Since this was the closest thing to evidence I had seen of this thing actually working. I left the Silverfish laying there to see if this "trap" had actually worked only to wake up later that morning and see the Silverfish gone. This product is a waste of money. Don't believe the lies.
