1UPCard Mini 4 Card Pack

This is a nifty little tool that does effectively clean the inside of cartridges. I tested mine on Game Boy, GBC, GBA, and N64 cartridges using 90% rubbing alcohol with no issues and they were left clean and fiber-free. Fibers are a concern when cleaning with other things such as q-tips and cotton swabs, so this eliminates that problem entirely. I highly recommend using the 1Up Card in conjunction with a method of safely storing game cartridges to keep them safe for years to come.

Probably the best way to clean old game cartridges imo, you can reuse one card for many games and can use your own 90+% ipa to get the pads wet, also doesn’t leave strings like cotton swabs.

I've been using the regular size 1Up cards on my NES, SNES and Genesis carts for awhile now so it only made sense to pick up the mini cards when I started picking up used classic Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games. Ebay sellers and some used game stores won't clean carts before selling them to you so I just give them a quick clean with the 1Up card just in case - I don't want to put something in my console that might mess it up.
