The X9 golf set from Prosimmon Golf was one of the most popular on the market, and the new and improved V2 model builds on that success.Prosimmon don’t make clubs for professionals with 120mph clubhead speed who send the ball 350 yards down the fairway. They build clubs for guys who don’t nail every shot, but are looking to get round as low as they can, and improve with every shot.Forgiveness and ease of use is paramount in this set. Whether it’s the oversized 460cc driver with a massive sweetspot, the easy to use hybrid clubs that replace the hard long irons, or the cavity back stainless steel irons built to be more consistent even on off-centre strikes, everything is geared towards making your bad shots less bad, and your good shots even better. The set comes complete with a deluxe stand bag with dual straps for more comfort if you carry it around the course. Included:460cc driver, gr

Perfect for the tall beginner
First off i am 6'5", 27 y/o, and have been playing these clubs for 2 years now. I bought them because i needed a set right away and was sick of playing my dads old standard length set which always felt too short. So i play bogey/double bogey golf all day between slices and occasional flubbed shots. But these clubs feel good. Like real good. Like with a little practice at the range i went from misfiring iron hits every 1/4 hits to maybe every 1/20. The bad is that the driver specifically feels like mucho garbagio. If you buy this set ask the old men in your life if they have a spare driver and chances are theyll have one that they won at some golf outing and never used. My old man who golfs like 2x a year had 2 brand new drivers for me that he had no intentions of ever using.Everything else is stellar for a beginner. The bag has those fold out legs which is excellent and many big pockets for stashing gear and beer on those "no outside drinks allowed" courses. I look forward to playing this set for years to come and see no need for an upgrade anytime soon.

Worth it for the money
I've been messing around with these clubs for about a month now and I've had a few observations. The irons are nicely weighted and are very good quality. The Putter is worth the price of the whole package. It has improved my short game immensely. The clubs are decent but nothing stands out that I can recall. Now on to the driver. It took me about 2 weeks at the driving range to finally figure this thing out. It requires a strong swing or it doesn't work well. You don't need to kill it, but it will not launch the ball on a weak swing. My old driver worked better than this one with less effort, but this out performs the old one when hit well. For the money especially if you are just starting out I can't think of a better set. I looked into some of the name brand sets, but after reading all the reviews of them, this set made the most sense. The only thing missing from the set is a sand wedge, but that's all I can think of. As far as the golf bag goes, its very light weight made of mostly nylon with lots of pockets. It looks very durable. While it doesn't have the flash of a Taylor Made bag, it works. I liked the carry handles and the straps for walking around the course and it didn't weigh me down like the heavier bags. Lastly, it has the fold out legs for use on the course without a golf cart or at the driving range.

Great set for the price for a taller golfer
Just got the set.. took them out to hit some balls.. I am very happy with the one inch longer clubs.. it makes a big difference for a taller guy (6'2") such as myself..bag is very lightweight yet durable and they even included head covers for the driver hybrids and wood which was not in the description and I was not expecting.. it was a pleasant surprise.. Set is well worth the price that they charge

Driver requires speed.
The set is definitely worth the buy if you are a beginner. The irons alone are worth the money you are paying. They feel good in your hands. The 3 and 4 hybrids are nice but I have not had enough practice with them. The putter will improve your game. It is well balanced and just feels smooth. Now the somewhat bad. The driver, it is a little difficult. I read some reviews about the driver before I bought it and I figured I could handle it. The review of the driver stated the faster your swing the better the driver performed. I have learned that the review is true. It is harder to control where the ball is going to go but it sounds sweeter the faster I swing and once I figured out the ball trajectory at certain swing speeds I have tamed my drives down a lot with this driver. I would not advise a person with a slow club speed to use the driver. All the other clubs in the set tho are worth the money.

Really good set, right price
My children, and even my grandchildren, are golfers. Not wishing to be left behind, I decided to take it up. I tried to buy a set for my wife, but she told me she dated a golf pro for three years before she met me, and despises the game. Married 47 years, and I still learn something new about her every day. She said I’d know more if I listened more to her, or something like that. There was a deal on Wilson clubs, but my son insisted I buy this because the driver, the 3 and the 3 and 4 hybrids are all carbon flex shafts. He thought that would help the old man. The rest are stainless steel shafts but still have a little flex. So I spent an extra Grant on the set. It’s nice. Nice bag, bipod, more zipper pockets than a Hells Angels motorcycle jacket, big red socks clearly marked to protect the driver, 3, 3 and 4 hybrids, a rain cover that snaps over the top of the bag and clubs.I especially like the putter. It looks like it was made out of spare parts from Flash Gordon’s spaceship. If Ming the Merciless plays golf on the Planet Mongo, this contraption is definitely the putter he uses. It’s got three big engraved lines on the head to help you aim, and the grip is a rounded triangle with a flattened side you can use to aim it, too. This is a putter for the absolute complete idiot, so I like it just fine. The pitching wedge deserves special mention. I hit into a sand trap that was so deep I could barely see the top of the flag from it. Between the sand and the green was a forest of high grass, so dense it looked like a good place for a lion to be hiding. My son said, donate that ball to the golf gods, I’ll throw a ball onto the green for you. Instead I used the pitching wedge. The ball went way up, almost into orbit, over the lion’s den, and dropped right by the hole. I felt like Ben Hogan. The lion can have someone else for lunch.Less than three Benjamins for this set, well worth the simoleons.

They were a great price and the fit me well
I ordered these clubs because I'm tall and just getting back into golf. They were a great price and the fit me well. I have used them once a week since and they feel great for me as I am recovering from some health issues. They feel like I needed them to as I am a little weaker to play like I used to.
