Great for art
I purchased these for my students as I like to have a variety of art materials for them to use. I love the larger size and the students love the colours and how they mark make on different materials.

Excellent for children and artists
I love the versatility of these water-activated pencils. You can draw on paper, or on glass. You can use them dry, or you can add water on top of them (like watercolor pencils) or you can dip them in water for a wide, deeply-colored mark. They are great for mixed-media mark-making, and they are also a lot of fun for kids. The thickness of pencils makes them easy for little hands to use, but they are also fine for us older people. We gave this set to a 4- and 6-year-old, and they enjoyed them a lot.
