This top made the boring white ikea dresser soooooooooooooo good! I changed the handles and added the top. Perfect! The color is beautiful.

This 4 foot board will be used as a table surface in our living room. It’s a very nice piece of wood that looks great. It also has a nice stain and finish on it, the color is great. I am going to put a little more varnish on it for protection.Extremely happy with what arrived, worth the cost, and it literally arrived in one day after ordering it!

I really like that this table top is very solid. It is pieces of genuine wood laminated (glued) together along the long edges to make the full width, which looks well done and not very visible, in my opinion, and that's what makes this more affordable than the same size in a solid slab, especially at 16" wide. I'm going to be using it as a TV console, so the joins will not be noticeable at all, but it would still make an attractive coffee, sofa, or entry table top, etc. I gave stars off because it was more rustic (rough) than I expected. I re-read the description and it does say that it is scraped or brushed to give it texture, which I didn't quite catch before. The stain color is as expected, but seemed flat, maybe because it is a very matte finish (or perhaps just not enough layers?). I decided to sand it down and then I re-stained it to bring out the wood grain more and to darken the live edge so it had more contrast to the surface. It sanded quickly and took the stain well. Finally I brushed on a couple coats of a satin spar (waterproof) finish to give a bit of luster and protect it. For my use, I added brackets underneath to hold our DVD player (which we still use very often for the DVDs we have kept over the years) since the TV and sound bar didn't leave enough space for the DVD player. I'm very happy with the end product overall, but it did take some unanticipated work to get it to the point where I liked it for my personal taste. I'd still recommend this as a good buy and nice product, depending on your aesthetics and use. Since it's one component of a DIY project--you need enough skills and tools to add the legs--you also probably would be very capable of upgrading the finish if you desired.

I used this to make a bar in an existing wall. Results were amazing. Very sturdy and project went over very well. Sealed with 2 part epoxy to ensure a smooth finish.

The wood arrived as pictured and without damage. I would have given 5 stars, but the wood surface is a bit rough for use as a desk despite the stain. It isn't a problem for a computer desk. I would still purchase again.

Liked the first one so much I ordered a second. Used them as table tops on two existing pieces of furniture that had damaged tops. They are absolutely beautiful. Would definitely recommend and will purchase again. Was really pleased that the two pieces were an excellent color match as not every piece of wood is the same or takes stain the same.

Piece of wood was way overpriced for the quality. Both sides were full of blemishes that were poorly filled in. Finish on piece was not great.

Not as nice as expected for the money. Wood received had a piece that was splintered and stuck out from the edge. It ripped off easily and now all I can do is try to putty and fill the hole.
