A waste of money

It’s such a shame because Andis used to make great products. This is supposed to be their “upgraded” consumer model, but the upgrade doesn’t seem to be much more than a metallic finish to a plastic/fiberglass body. Most annoyingly the battery is shot after only a year of part-time light usage (less than 1-2x per week). It won’t hold a charge and won’t run while plugged in. The weak blades end up snagging and pulling hair. It’s a painful disaster.

I have had a pair that I bought at a beauty supply, but the blade became dull and when I went to replace it, they didn't carry the same one. I was disappointed as this was my go to tool for trimming necks and side burns, etc, when giving haircuts. so I found them, thankfully, on Amazon and ordered two, one for use and another back up. I hope they don't stop making this tool because it is the perfect size and is very durable. I bought the first one in 2006, so the blade lasted as the clipper still works, but the blade was dull, need to find a new supply of blades, but 13 years! Wow, that should be a record.

I want a d's clippers for my wife so she can use them I to work should a professional hairdresser we receive them let him charge overnight show in to work with them went to U Jamin her the 1st client of the book day and nothing it would not work we try to charge them for in another 12 hours and still nothing green light comes on as they are redy to use but they just will not work at all biggest waste of money and time

Im not sure if the one i got was defective but it was not cutting properly at all, felt like the battery was almost dead even when plugged in.I had the previous Experience model for 6 years now and is working 100% better than this newer one.Amazon refunded me my money
