Sweet, it works!
I am a new hunter and I was a little wary as to whether deer calls actually worked. Well, short answer is they definitely do work. I walked out onto a piece of land that had only been hunted sporadically for the past 10 years or so and called a buck within 15-20 yards of my position within 10 minutes of me being in the woods, he caught me off guard actually and managed to get away. The buck was as relaxed as I have ever seen a deer before he spotted me, so he was fully convinced there was a "bleating doe" somewhere around (or maybe it was the grunts that pulled him in). Excellent call, thanks Willie! I hope it brings me a few more that I will be ready for next time.

Stops them in their tracks, works great at changing direction on younger bucks.
I'm writing this review after having successfully used this call after 2 archery seasons, bagging 3 deer in that time frame while using this call. Let me give a few impressions.1.) The call is easy to use. It comes with a DVD, but I found the same video on the DVD available on youtube. Within minutes I was able to make a variety of doe bleats and buck grunts. It doesn't take much skill.2.) It has worked fantastically on younger bucks. As a "meat hunter" I mainly am out in the woods trying to get meat for the freezer. As my buddy told me my first year hunting, "I haven't yet found a recipe for antlers that I like." That being said, from my limited experience, this hasn't worked really well on the bigger older bucks I've tried to use it on. However it has successfully turned around and changed direction on several younger 1.5 year old bucks.Just yesterday I was out in my tree stand, a 10-12 pointer walked by, and while the call stopped him momentarily at about 100 yards away, he didn't change direction to investigate. If it was gun season, it would have stopped him dead in his tracks long enough for me to get a clean shot. However, it didn't entice him to come my direction to investigate.30-40 minutes later another younger 7-point buck came by about the same direction as the previous big boy. He was about 100 yards away and again I used the call. It stopped him dead in his tracks. I waited another 30 seconds, let out another buck grunt and he looked my direction intently. He stood there for a minute, then I let out another grunt call and he decided he had to investigate. It took about 3-4 minutes but he made his way my direction and I got him with an arrow through the lungs at about 15 yards. Without the call I would have just had a story to tell about seeing a couple bucks. With this call, I have meat in the freezer.Similar story happened a year ago. I was able to get a bachelor group of 3 younger bucks to come in from about 150 yards away with this call. Two 6-poitners and an 8-pointer changed direction and came right within bow range due to the use of this call.Overall, I'm thrilled with this call. It hasn't worked yet to get me a big monster buck, but if I was out in the woods during my state's gun season and used this call I'm confident it would stop a big buck long enough for me to get a clean shot. However I haven't yet been able to get a big boy to come in close with it. Not saying it can't achieve that, but just simply relaying my experience using the call.I'm a huge fan.

Good Natural Sounding Deer Call But Beware of Cold Weather
I do like this deer call as it is very natural sounding and easy to use. However, I live in Northern Maine and it gets very cold up here even in the fall. What others have said about this call is true and the weather. If you do not keep this close to you in your jacket and it is below the freezing mark, the call will start to not work properly due to the cold weather until you get it warmed up. The DVD they send with it is nice but really does not teach you how to use the call and I was disappointed in that part. You have to YouTube it or search for the way to use it properly but it is relatively easy to use. I would recommend this but keep the above considerations in mind.

It works, and it works well.
First time I ever used a deer call was this call a week or so ago. I have used it maybe 5 days total so far. Out of those 5 days I've used it, I've pulled in deer on 3 different days with it, each time a buck. This first time I used it I called in what may have been the biggest deer I've ever seen on public land with a huge 10 point rack. I assume he was coming in looking for the other buck he thougjt was there and was most likely ready for a fight, but I believe he smelled me because he came in, stood behind a tree and then took off before he saw me. Nevertheless, it has worked on numerous occasions for me, me being a beginner call-user. Probably the best on the market.

Not the best of the best or even close.
I expected something much better than this from the duck men. This is a perfect example of a celebrity putting their name on something that they do not actually make but just receive royalties on.Do not misunderstand, this call works and sounds great, but it was advertised as being able to make 3 calls. An expert like Willie may be able to make the 3 calls but I can not. It also has very poor instructions. It did come with a video that I thought would be the instructions but no, it was a few short hunting clips.Would not buy again. In fact It is only seeing duty as a toy for my 5 year old grandson. I still use my tried and true call that I have had for years.Up date: I like to be fare so here is an update. My original dislike for this product was that it is advertised and being able to make 3 deer sounds and I was unhappy because It was hard to use. I still stand by that, however the 1 sound that it does make is great. Took my 5 year old grandson hunting with me and he called up a nice 7 point for me. I could not believe it. I will now change my review to 4 stars. Great sound but not a good for making the claimed 3 calls.
