So I never write reviews because….well, I’m just too lazy to do it…however, for anyone who wants a tried & true review for this camera, stop here! Here are my pros & cons: 1. Set up - SIMPLE - I didn’t hardwire mine into my vehicle. I unboxed the camera, stuck it to my windshield, plugged it in and read the manual. 2. WI-FI - MODERATE - The connection from camera to my phone is strong, however, a couple of steps are needed to connect. YUCK! A. Press & hold the “ok” button on side of dash cam until Wi-Fi pops up on screen. B. Open settings on phone and wait for 12 digit Wi-Fi name to pop up. Mine also had 3 other Wi-Fi’s come up that I thought were it. But after reading the manual again, I missed the section where the manual told me to look for the certain Wi-Fi name (duh! Operator error). C. Now you can connect!!!!! Con: I wish it would just auto-connect to my phone. Waiting for connection is a pain! (FYI..I bought the 258mb SD card). Pro: I then realized that I didn’t necessarily have to connect to Wi-Fi each and every time because every recording when I turn on the camera is stored in the SD card. (Duh again but Woo Hoo!!!) Lesson Learned…read the manual! 3. Picture Quality - AMAZING!!!!!!!! I am not just saying that! I recorded in a couple of different settings. A. Daytime - Sunny & cloudy - the picture was clear with very little distortion. Rainy - same great quality. B. Nighttime - clear with a little less clarity cause, well, it’s nighttime but, I can make out different scenes or objects in the video at this setting, so it’s a 10 for me! 4. You can hear everything going on inside the vehicle. My singing is not too pleasant to hear! Just an fyi! :) However, the sound quality is amazing. I have not heard the sound quality/ability inside the vehicle from people or cars or whatever from outside the vehicle. Will have to try that today. 5. Viewing the recordings - EASY - You can save your recordings from the dash cam itself, from your phone or plug the sd card into a computer. I viewed my recordings from my cell and the picture/video quality is as good as my 4K tv in my house! I also viewed them from my laptop and it’s a TINY bit distorted as the picture/video is larger on my laptop. It all in all, great quality! So, my review is as honest as it can be for owing the dash cam for 3 days. I love it! I just got the rear camera from REDTIGER and trying that out today. I’ll add a review to that in a few days! I bought this to replace a NEXAR system that I returned. This dash cam works great. It is somewhat user friendly once you get used to it. I can use several dash cams with the app. We have 5 separate dash cams we can access through the app unlike the nexar system. With this system you basically can set it and forget it. It does take a little long to download a video to the phone once you need to share a video but it’s not terrible. Video quality is great. Very clear. A bit dark at night though. Used an OBD II kit for the installation. I would recommend this system. The touch screen version is easier to use so spend the few more dollars for the ease of use.

Pros: - easy to setup - easy to install - easy to navigate the menu and settings - small size doesn't block view when driving - the power cable has a USB port on top so you don't lose functionality - video/image quality is great for a camera of this size/price Cons: - Install wire is MUCH shorter compared to my old dash cam ( about 3 ft shorter) - the suction is not the greatest - the camera easily slides on and off the mount, there is no clip or anything holding it into place so it has fallen off while I was driving The setup was almost non existent, you put the SD card in the slot, connect the power cord and you're done. Run the cable how you like just keep in mind that the cable length is limited so if you are trying to hide it by running along the outside of the windshield and down the A-pillar, under the glovebox, make sure you double check you have enough cable available to do this. I have driven with this for nearly 2 months and it has fallen off the mount only once. My old camera used to fall off weekly before I used a 3M adhesive to hold it in place. This is my only pet peeve as it is a driving hazard to have this fall off like that. I haven't tried connecting to my phone yet as I don't really care about this feature when I can just plug the SD card into my computer to pull up videos and download them there so I can't speak to that feature. The picture and video is VERY crisp and clear for a camera of this price bracket. The settings and loop times are easily adjustable. Overall if you are looking for a cheap dashcam, I would recommend this one!

First thing I really like is how easy you can pull it away from the suction cup to take it in the house if you wish to , other dash cams that I owned and sent back it was so hard to disconnect the camera away from the suction cup the way they were designed this one here extremely easy, also if you need to glance at the screen which you would be glancing at an angle you can see the screen perfect the last model Dash cam I own you could not see the screen at an angle you had to look 100% straight at the screen, audio very good I could actually hear the Truck three vehicle in front of me with loud mufflers, video quality very good since I put the camera up I’ve caught multiple things that other drivers has done going through a red light, stop sign etc , Wi-Fi very easy to connect to your cell phone and highlight whatever video clip you would like to download to your cell phone , if you view the video clip using the app that you download to use with this dash cam top half of the screen will show you your video the bottom half will show you the map of the road you’re on and you can actually see as a video is playing a little dot which is your vehicle moving and I did notice it’s very accurate , also you can have the date stamp time in your actual speed as you’re driving stamped on the video so when you were playing it back you can actually see the speed you are going in the date and time, Night vision I actually was shocked that it was better than I thought it would be, to me it’s very acceptable and if something does happen you can make it out everything you need to make out. Camera is very small and compact which is nice, is not that noticeable when on your windshield because of the size of the camera

Update to my original review - nothing to add in terms the camera - still 5 stars for that, but this seller - they're amazing! My camera stopped working a couple of days ago - I contacted the seller, who just sent me a new camera right away! Well after the 1 year warranty period - just sent me a new camera! I can't praise them enough! I thought maybe they'd agree to give me a discount to buy a new camera as again - mine was out of warranty - I DID NOT expect them to just send me a brand new camera! I know of very few other sellers in Amazon that I know I can really rely on when it comes to such situations - Anker, mostly, but now - Redtiger! I really don't know what more you can expect for your money - the best dashcam I ever had + the stellar customer service I just described. Amazing! This was (still is) my original review: Camera works great, although I don't like that the mount cannot be adjusted in terms of the angle that you can adjust the camera to be on your windshield as much as other camera mounts allow you to do. Despite that - the camera "sits" more or less where I'd like it to be, is very straightforward to operate, and has excellent image quality. The seller is commendable for their customer care, as they contacted me on their own after the purchase to see if everything was ok, and have helped me with a hardwire kit for it so I don't need to use one of the car's built in charging ports. Highly recommend, both the dash camera but no less important - the fantastic customer care by this seller.

Customer service is outstanding. When I needed additional instructions, they were very friendly and patient, ensuring I had all the support I needed. The camera settings menu is simple to understand. Videos are very clear and good quality. Not tested during the winter yet. Only downside is the wifi connection is a bit annoying when I have to disconnect my phone from the car as my car has a wireless connection to CarPlay/AndroidAuto. It is a pain to reconnect. Solution is buying a card reader. Not sure if it is the same for ones connect to car by cables. Overall the main thing to me is the trustworthy camera. I paid the same amount for another one from different brand, unfortunately it didn’t record when I got hit but recorded random useless videos, also sometimes turned off completely by itself.

After ten years' service, my old dashcam died. Too bad it is no longer available in the market. I bought this RedTiger in August 2023. It works really well, produces amazing clear video in day and night with wild angle. I love it. After one month's use, its suction cup mount kept falling. I had to use 3M double sided tape on the suction cup to securely mount the dashcam onto windshield. RedTiger is selling an adhesive mount with GPS module for $26. Unfortunately, the dashcam failed after 13 months. It hung up during power on. It just frozen at its logo screen, won't start recording. Shown on the attached video. Email their customer service, They sent me a replacement in 4 days. Really good customer service. Hope the new one can last longer. Pros: Good video with wild angle. Good customer service. Cons: Short life. Suction cup mount. Overheating.

I chose front only version, learned its modes quickly, and have used it everyday since. Its on my usb plug that turns off with the ignition, so it restarts with every vehicle start as I dont need parking lot mode setup. Ive only had 5 or 6 cams , this one is the best for the money for me and presented clear dated video evidence to insurance companies when I was backed into one time..paid for itself that one time and its been ready to do the same since. GOOD.

I purchased the REDTIGER 4K UHD Dash Cam (F7NS) and was excited about its impressive specs, including 4K video quality, night vision, and GPS. However, upon installation, I noticed that the camera gets extremely hot after a short period of use. This raises serious concerns about safety and the product's durability. Also although I have bought the extension cords package, the cable connecting the camera to the cigarette charger was very short (my car is RAV4), i have not installed the rear camera yet and I am not sure if the cable is short as well. While the image quality seems decent, the overheating issue makes me question how long this device will last and whether it’s safe to leave in the car, especially during warmer weather. A dash cam should be reliable and functional, but this one falls short of expectations. I cannot recommend this product unless the manufacturer addresses this overheating problem. Very disappointed.
