Fighter!: Ten Killer Planes of World War II Hardcover – November 1, 2016

I once contacted Jim Laurier concerning a pair of models I was making after a painting of his. He was very nice to help me all he could. So, when I saw this book, I snatched it up. It's worth every penny I paid for it. Jim has taken 10 fighters from WWII, inserted paintings and pencils of them in combat, ect., put comprehensive articles describing the plane, its development, how many were made and which theater of the War they were used in. I really like this book and it will come in handy as I make more WWII plane models.

The greatest WWII fighter book ever written. I bought six for gifts. I have never seen this incredible combination of art, history, technical specifications and dramatic pilot stories combined like this before. This is a groundbreaking work. I enjoyed every minute spent within these pages. You will too.

I will definitely add this book to my collection of aircraft art volumes. The writing is excellent, and the art work is first class. I would recommend it to any like-minded collector, or even someone who enjoys aviation art.

Awesome book, unbelievable talent. Only con was the packaging. The book was fine but received in a large box with no packaging inside, book was just loose and able to move around too much, potential for more damage.

BUY THIS BOOK!!! This is one of the best WW2 Aviation book's I have. Excellent. I only wish it included the F4U Corsair.

Schöne Farbbilder, schwarz-weiß Fotografien und große Drei-Seiten-Zeichnungen. Hervorzuheben sind die erläuterten Cockpitinnenansichten, die man sonst eher selten zu Gesicht bekommt. Für den Preis ein lohnenswertes Buch (englische Version).
