Q: Are these effective for working at the vicinity of jet engines? Worst case around 35 meters from the airplane

These "Motorcycle Hear Protecs" are designed to allow some sound through so you can hear your bike and auto sound like horns. I wouldn't think you would want any noise coming through hearing protection, especially jet engines. I have hearing loss in my left ear which results in what sounds like a jet engine ALL the time. I would recommend maximum hearing protection including quality plugs AND muffs to avoid that.

I don’t know if they are or not but I sent mine back.
