I'm not sure what other reviews do with their phones but my 15 month old plays with it, drops it, throws it, licks it, whatever, and it doesn't have a mark on it - safe to say that it works just fine. If you are looking for a shock absorber case then this one just isn't for you. But that said, THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL PHONE CASE! People compliment me on it on the street! It's classy and keeps my keys from scratching my phone in my pocket or purse. AND it has a mirror. ;)

This case is BEAUTIFUL! But the protection is made out of plastic and the corners chip off right away. My phone fell and the touch screen is no longer responsive. Headed to Apple for a new screen now :-(
