This can opener can literally open everything. I was so happy to find this product. It is really ease to use and can be adjusted to pretty much all sizes of can or anything that can not be opened. Super cheap and so far it had held up great. Its durable, easy to use, cheap and has yet to fail me. It doesn't take much strength either the opener does that for you. 10 out 10.

I have tried several types of jar openers, even battery operated ones that did not work. Even the rubber garden gloves with grip no longer worked for me. I would donate jars I couldn't open to the food pantry. This was my last resort. The jar popped open so quickly and easily, I strongly recommend it to anyone who is struggling to open jars.

At the end of the day, after you finesse it around the lid, the device works. It seems to be cheaply made and does not operate smoothly. Not necessarily disappointed but not happy either.

I am an artist and have constant problems with the lids of plastic housepaint jars that I often use sticking because paint got in the threads and when dries, it acts as glue. I ordered these to solve this particular problem, not to use them on glass jars with metal lids.The device does not work at all for my intended purpose. If I close the jaws firmly on the lid of a plastic bottle, the pressure bends the whole lid and neck to an oval shape, and the teeth slip on the plastic, which is quite soft, tearing it when I try to turn the handle.Using a rubber disc cut to about the diameter of a softball to grip the top and turn is far more effective, and even a wide rubber band stretched around the edge of the lid for a better grip often works if the top isn't too tightly stuck. I got these jar openers to handle the few cases that don't open with the above treatments, but alas, the device doesn't work at all.They may work better on glass jars with metal lids, a situation I haven't any experience with.

The design and engineering that went into this were first rate. However, the manufacturing and quality makes me wonder how long this thing will last. As of now, being brand new, it seems to work fine. But it also feels to be made very flimsy. But given the price point, I’m going to keep it and use it until it breaks.
