V28 Mini Automotive Dashboard Car Ball Compass

Other than when you are crossing a metal bridge, this compass is stylish and helps because my GPS won't display compass direction. I stuck it on top of my short flat antenna.

Small and cute, but didn't attach well to my dashboard. Only pointed west despite any direction I turned. Worthless.

Modern cars have too many electronics for this compass to work properly on your dash. Compass works great but if you are wanting to put it in your car, it won’t work.

I bought this compass because my GPS doesn't have a compass feature. I was in an unfamiliar city and got on the wrong direction hwy. My GPS resolution couldn't give me the clues I needed to tell me I was going the opposite direction. I continued past the first few exits before turning around. If only I had a visible compass I would have known to turn around sooner. I bought this KanPas Compass to keep me on the right path in the future. :) I chose this particular KanPass Compass because it's design looked cool and doesn't take up much space on my dash. I had no problem finding a place on my dash with no magnetic interference. I'm totally satisfied with this compass and look forward to always being on the Right Path wherever I go. :)

It's a cute little thing, but it simply doesn't work. A "Magic 8 Ball" would give you just as good directions! This definitely isn't worth the money.

nice and small, works fine outdoors but as soon as I bring it inside my car, it only points SE, reason being, I have a magnetic mount for my cellphone, so no joy… update: I tried again after removing the magnetic phone holder, but the result was the same, so clearly the interference comes from the car, a 2020 Toyota Corolla 😞

It is downright laughable to read the critical reviews of this compass. The compass is blamed for the electrical/magnetic interference caused by the vehicles! I promise those considering a purchase, that this compass will point to magnetic north. And if you should release your hold on it, gravity will pull it toward the ground. Modern vehicles are loaded with electrical wires. So rest assured, if you locate this or any other simple magnetic compass near any of them, visible or invisible, the electrical current will affect the compass. Having said that, I am most pleased with this compass. It is small, but easily readable. It will not block you view. Move it about inside your vehicle until you find a location that provides the LEAST interference. Generally speaking, the need for any magnetic compass in a vehicle is to determine whether you may be traveling180 degrees away from your intended course. This compass will solve that problem.

Like the small size, about perfect size I’d say Just installed it today. Works fine and accurate on my 2018 Nissan frontier compared with my iPhone compass. This one is off like only a hair or two degrees it’s stuck on a plastic panel near shifter

Something a little different from other designs. Shows your heading clearly and works smoothly and accurately, not seemingly affected by the vehicle. I use it in my camper when I travel for quick reference if I’m unsure of my direction.
