This is an AAA, rare and amazing pair of blue tourmaline slices - perfect to show off in earrings. The color is beautiful - dark blue/green outer band, then a thin band of bright cyan and a very pale blue/gray center. The fronts are polished glass smooth and the sides are natural. They are a perfect match, cut from the same stone, and both measure 11.1mm at their widest point and 4mm thick. They weigh a hefty 9.2 carats total and are wonderful and very fine examples of Brazilian tourmaline! They'd look awesome with your favorite blue jeans;) In an effort to showcase as much of the lovely slices as possible, I have set them in a unique way. I have carefully cut a precision groove around the outer edge of the stone which is then wire wrapped with sturdy 26 gauge sterling wire. They hang from solid sterling silver hinged lever backs. The lever backs alone measure 15 mm tall. The overall length of the earrings is 1.125 inches tall. These truly are such beautiful specimens!!! They are very sturdy and well made... by me for you!
