This is one of the nicest pairs of traditional watermelon tourmaline I have! From Minas Gerais Brazil, the color is beautiful with well defined bands and rich color. The fronts are polished smooth and the sides are natural. They are a perfect match, cut from the same stone, and both measure 15.5x15x3 mm and together weigh a hefty 16 carats! In an effort to showcase as much of the lovely slices as possible, I have set them in a unique way. I have carefully cut a precision groove around the outer edge of the stone which is then wire wrapped with sturdy 26 gauge 14K solid gold wire. They hang from 14k solid gold hinged lever backs in simple splendor. The lever backs alone measure 15 mm tall. The overall length of the earrings is 1.25 inches tall. AMAZING!!!
