The tourmaline slices in these earrings are of the highest quality. They are all natural, African tourmaline with superb clarity and unique coloring that shows very well in earrings. They are very large at 10 carats for the pair and they measure 13x12x3mm. They have glass smooth surfaces and natural edges. The outer rim is a gorgeous minty green followed by a thin pink slightly darker band and then a pink center - they are beautiful in every way! This is set in a unique way to show off the beautiful colors of the stone with minimal coverage. I have carefully drilled out a small groove around the edge of the stone into which I have inserted sturdy 26 gauge 14K wire all the way around to secure the stone. This setting allows the entire stone, and it's colors all the way to the edge to be seen in all it's beautiful glory! It is set in 14K solid rose gold in a drop down design with one pink tourmaline rondelle above each slice.
